OT: Enter Sandman backwards, backwards, forward??

(OT: Enter Sandman)

Hope the title wasn't too confusing, or annoying. Anyway, I was browsing reddit (read: working) and I came across this cover off Enter Sandman. This guy plays and records it backwards, and then plays it backwards (so that it's playing forward, but backwards ..You picking up what I'm putting down??) I found it pretty interesting, and figured you guys might get a kick out of it as well. Who better than Hokie Nation, am I right?

Perhaps my title is off-putting

Interesting, thx for sharing; I can't imagine how hard that was to do. Were the lyrics vocalized backwards as well? If so...wow. If not, then these guys must be European, the accents are thick. Either way, kudos. Loved the creativity with the visuals.

If it ain't orange, it better be maroon...and if it ain't maroon, it better be soon!

Here it is backwards.... forwards... it's what he was listening to when he recorded it. It's pretty trippy.

Dude! That is wicked! It's like the song is familiar enough that you know it, but it's just not right. It would probably drive me crazy if I listened to this while drinking. The work and effort that went into getting the notes and lyrics backwards like that is amazing.

There is nothing in the world like Thursday night in Blacksburg!

The guy's an outstanding musician. He's got some other awesome stuff out there too. My favorite so far (and my current goal to be able to play well by the end of the summer):

Edit: someone beat me to explaining it

I think it's awesome

Onward and upward

Here it is embeded for folks:

Thanks man

That's quite amazing. Getting the right sounds to be able to vocalize backwards is something else. Not perfect, but I can't imagine it getting much closer than that.

Speaking of Metallica, they did the National Anthem for the SF Giants yesterday...

Just sayin... Labor Day isn't that far away....

This makes my brain hurt. Only because I'm thinking of how he possibly could have played and sung the whole song backwards. Pretty good
