Look how badly he dented that tailgate with his head!
Later that afternoon Sam Rogers was pulled over for speeding while pushing the truck uphill on West Campus Drive.
The cop let him go. He decided that Sam was right and the sign was wrong.
Add that ladies and gentlemen is why you don't park in Sam's spot
For some reason, this came to mind...
It looks like a Parking Services truck, too. Sam Rogers lives dangerously.
Parking Services will get after ya. Is Tek Tow still in business? Those heartless bastards.
Chances are that they are still in business, but under a different name. They must have gone through 3 while I was in the area due to all the lawsuits.
Valley towing now.
I hated them. Repeatedly. They ripped, ripped, I mean, ripped the transmission out of my jeep in 04. It was separated from the drivetrain when I got there
Meanwhile at UVA:
who's that kid pushing around that uva football player? We should get an offer out to him pronto
that's just a baby picture of the SAMINAL
This reminds me of one of my high school football practices. We had to start running between two cones when we were doing our warm up lap before stretching and at the beginning of one practice, the coach parked a truck between the cones as part of a team work object lesson. He had a couple players try moving it individually first, before letting us move it as a team.
If he didn't use the brakes at some point, he wasted a brilliant comedic opportunity.
If I'm remembering correctly there wasn't a coach in the truck. The park break might have been set though, since one person wasn't able to move it
I'd have moved one of the cones instead.
Just sayin...
I think one of us had that idea, but it was disallowed.
Was he pushing the truck, or was he trying to catch the truck because it was trying to get away?
Which one is the truck?
What you dont see is what he is using the truck to push
The new practice facility was discovered to be 4 feet out of alignment. So they called in Sam to correct it.
Oh! My bad! I thought the truck was trying to get away and Sam wasn't having it.
man our rowing coach at Tech used to have us push a truck by the corp obstacle course. It was challenging at first, but the real fun started when we hit the dip in the road, and the truck picked up some speed, and we had to run to keep up with the damn thing!
Sam did this the first day of Driver's Ed back in high school. No one has had the nerve/stupidity to try to correct him since.
I like to imagine hopping in a buddy's new truck being like, "nice ride man, what you got a stick?" Him being like "naw man, I got a Rogers," and Sam rising into view from behind the truck and giving a thumbs up akin to the fallout guy.

and poppin' that baby into gear.
Sam clearly grew up driving Fords. He seems to have a lot of experience pushing dead trucks down the road.
Fix Or Repair Daily. Ha! Good one.
my personal favorite is FORD backwards
Drivers Return On Foot
Found On Road Dead
Former Old Rebuilt Dodge.
Ah I could make fun of Ford all day. Hate rm hate em hate em (with apologies to Isaiah of course)
most companies have acronyms, but I don't think there is a company that has more than Ford.
Here are some other ones I can think of
Audi - Another Useless Deutsch Invention
BMW - Bought My Wife
Chevrolet - Can Hear Every Valve Rattle On Long Extended Drips
Dodge - Drips Oil Daily, Garage Everyday
Honda - Had One, Never Did Again
Jeep - Just Empty Every Pocket
Kia - Killed In Action
Toyota - They Overcharge You On Their Accessories (I love Toyotas, but being an owner of one, I can vouch for this)
I know there are others but that's all I could come up with without looking it up.
only other one I can think of off the top of my head is for Pontiac, but that one is no longer (or wasn't ever) appropriate
I omitted that one on purpose
So I did some digging (see: did a google search and looked at very first result) and found this nifty site:
http://www.careofcars.com/145/funny-car-acronym-for-each-brand/
Fiat - Fix It Again, Tony
we were a ford family growing up and I had to hear found on road dead all the time from my friends, especially because we just barely kept any vehicle we had running. But then again, my dad used to be a chevy man and he said we were still better off.
Honestly I dont think I can talk either. We've always been a Dodge family (I LOVE my 2015 Challenger) and the 2001 Stratus we had growing up was an absolute P.O.S. The quality of the vehicles while the company was under the Daimler umbrella were just. awful.
