Urb parks behind a car that parked in his spot in an empty parking lot. I think Beamer would have just had Sam Rogers move the thing. Guess no player at anOSU has that kind of strength.
P.s. What a dick move by, Urb, I mean really

That SUV probably had no problem jumping the curb forward to get out of there.
The metal fence might do some damage though...
If you look closely, it looks to me that there's at least a few feet before the fence starts. Or at least enough for him to pull forward, create some separation and Austin Powers' his way out of there...
It's probably a player's car messing around with the coach. Coach knows who it is and is paying him back by making him stay late with him. Only 80-some days left until football...
My thoughts exactly. This is just a prank, and likely a humorous response from Meyer. Empty parking lot, park in the coach's reserved spot...a little too on the nose.
When this showed up in the trending section of my facebook feed, one of the linked articles mentioned that Elevenwarriors is saying that the SUV belongs to a kicker on the team.
I started to read some of the comments on that article. Immediatedly realized I had made a mistake and returned home to TKP. Sometimes you have to experience the crap that is out there to really appreciate how good we have it. Thanks Joe!
Only thing worse is when a fellow Hokie makes a bad post on an open forum. If you can't represent then you need to step away from the keyboard, case in point:
Get your shit together Patrick!
IDK, based on the spelling and grammar I'd bet that's a WVU fan trying to troll by posing as a Hokie
Thanks for clearing that up. Here I thought it was a TSUN or UVA fan showing off his superior education.
well, we have options at least. Whoever it is, I'm about certain they're trolling.
If I had never seen the people that comment on Andy's blog I would agree with you. Unfortunately this could be 99% of those "fans"
I still think that Crooked Road from Andy's blog is/was swvadon. Or they are at least related/close friends. The shared mannerisms, phrases, veiled insults, opinions, attitudes towards others, persecution complex, etc. are way too many to be a coincidence.
No way a true Hokie doesn't know that we lost to ECU at home next. This doesn't seem very logical. I agree; either WVU fan or anOSU fan trying to create a mountain out of a mole hill. Wouldn't surprise me
Plus...would any of us identify as "Va Tech Hokie"?
VT...Virginia Tech...Hokie...
You solved it....it had to be an ESPN color commentator. They seem to own the rights to'VA-Tech.'
If they had posted 'the university of Virginia Tech' then we would know it was a new commit or Tyrod.
If they had used 'VPI' we would know they were an older Hokie.
If they used:
then we would know it was someone from Vermont.
And it they used:
then we would know it was some jag-off graphic designer from Nike trying to screw with us.
Well at least he was honest. Patrick is a (fan), doesn't claim to be a student or alum.
Or of at least average intelligence.
I thought it was funny. Probably just an assistant coach/player messing with Urban.
in high school we parked on either side of our new soccer coach first practice of the year (before he knew what our cars looked liked). Took a few tries, but we got inches away with the mirrors folded in. This guy was like 5'4", 250lbs. It was hilarious watching him worm his way through the hatchback, into the back seat for all his gear and then back out. As soon as he got to the field, we moved our cars. Needless to say, when he found out is was us a few weeks later he ran us into the ground.
That. As my coach once said, "you cna play all the practical jokes you want, just remember I am the guy with the whistle who gets to laugh while the team runs wind sprints..."
We played a trick on an assistant coach in high school. He had a Datsun 240Z (nice car at the time...google it if you are under the age of 40). The car wasn't very big or heavy, so while he was in the locker room, we moved it. It took about 20 guys to lift and scoot it. We didn't move it far, just turned it around a bit. The kicker is that we messed up something in the steering linkage. He was not happy.
You had me until right there. Pranks are all fine and dandy until you actually do some damage. Dude's a high school assistant coach. You don't do that for the money. Bad form, InEnemyTerritory, bad form.
nice (except for the damage. There a rules, man). My dad had a professor with a mini back in the 60s when he was doing grad work at ole miss. It was a competition to see the oddest place people could pick it up and move it. He and his friends got it in a narrow alley turned all perpendicular. Never heard how he got it out, but I imagine it looked something like this (trying not to duplicate GIFs, but it is perfect)
Your title implies that Sam Rogers would allow another Sam Rogers to exist and we all know that is just plain silly, there can be only one Sam Rogers.
out of state plates on the SUV?
hoping the SUV belongs to the mom of a 5 star recuit
People call this the "silly season". It's when players get arrested for being boys, and things like parked cars get some media.
Here's to the season starting and we have some games to talk about. :)
Could you expand on "players being arrested for being boys".
Slow news day and bad PR attempt at making the coach look like he really gives a shit.
Why has no one seen the obvious flaw in this whole made up story??? Urban Meyer would never park his car right behind someone who was using his space..... he would have his chauffer do it.
