Seems like PSU would be our biggest competitor here. Even so, I like the odds!

I thought "We are" was a Marshall thing

I believe that Penn State has been doing it for a while. Pretty sure their crowd shouts it at home games.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

The story goes a little like this. Sauce: http://www.celticwomanforum.com/index.php?topic=6843.0;wap2

The year is 1947. Racism and segregation continue to run rampant throughout the country. And yet this was the time when Penn State's most iconic battle cry was born. The 1947 Nittany Lion football team - coached by Bob Higgins and not one Joe Paterno - was undefeated and headed to the Cotton Bowl to take on Southern Methodist. Despite the feeling towards African-Americans around the states, the 9-0 Penn State teams was united. This 1947 squad contained two African-American players, Wally Triplett, who was the first African-American to be drafted and play in the NFL and Dennie Hoggard. And they were part of the team, in every sense of the word. Prior to the Cotton Bowl (played on New Year's Day, 1948) rumors swirled that SMU wanted to meet with Penn State in regards to their black players playing in the game. The University and football team wanted no part in this meeting. It was at this time that Triplett says "We are Penn State" came to be.

"We are Penn State," Triplett recalled Suhey saying. "There will be no meetings."

I never heard it until the movie about the Marshall plane crash.

My Aunt was at Marshall when the plane crash happened. She says she can't remember doing it at games back then. I always thought PSU did it first. Not that it matters.

This kid is violent. Pretty quick too and seems to maintain separation and shed blockers with ease. You could almost line him up at end.

Him and Tim Settle in the middle....oh my god.

I think I just imagined that! Calm down, penis!

Guess we will see how Cornell and Wiles close. Not that the crystal balls are worth anything but it looks heavy to Randy Edsall's Used Car Lot.

I don't remember there being any disclaimer on that phrase.

Think it's more his own personal addendum than a disclaimer

We are . . . going to land this kid.

I love this kid. Defensive tackle isn't a huge need area in this class, but Jordan would be a perfect fit in Bud Foster's system. He is squat and plays low so as he gets bigger he has the frame to fit his gaps. Yet, he is incredibly quick with his lateral movement. Where Corey Marshall is violent going straight through the gap, Jordan can get through gaps with the same speed AFTER slanting laterally. Once he gets that angle, he has terrific bend back to the inside. I watch him, and I see a much faster version of Derrick Hopkins that can be incredibly disruptive. With a space eater like Tim Settle on the other side, the Hokies could have a deadly combination.

I have no clue who is a favorite to land Jordan, however he has been very positive about VT on social media for a long time.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

We have been doing a great job developing talent on the inside, but I will always take more. Man it would be nice to redshirt talented players

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

Faster you say???
