I don't think Buzz will be satisfied until he has a roster of Rogers like superhumans.

Put some muscles on them boys
Buzz gets in on the action- classic. Something tells me him and Bud are pretty tight.
I wish I had coaches like Buzz.
that truck needs some body work
That's the next event.
It didn't before Sam got hold of it.
Did I miss something? Other than some rust in a fender, that truck looked pretty sweet.
mostly kidding. truck is sweet no doubt, but you don't let rust holes onto the body. that's a no no where I come from.
You must've missed it...you didn't see the F.O.R.D. on the back? That is a definite no no...plus...it's a long bed..
I didn't miss those things, that's what makes it a sweet truck. If it had said Chevrolet on the back I would have assumed that it wasn't an exercise, that it was just someone that the team found broke down alongside the road and they had to push them to campus.
It's awfully nice of Ford on their newer vehicles that they not only found the problem with them, but the even circle it for you.
Bowties are for Wahoos.
very cool
I don't know about you, but I'm really psyched about our round ball prospects this year. The more I see, the better I like. If nothing else, Buzz has introduced passion and excitement where complacency seemed to have reigned. I can wait, because I wouldn't wish football season away, or fishing season, or any day for that matter, but I am champing at the bit for this coming Buzzketball campaign.
I'm psyched too. Personally, I think Buzz Williams was been the best hire the athletic department has made since Beamer/Foster. Last season may not have ended up having the best results, but the energy of the team changed in a very positive way. I see no reason why this team won't continue to get better.
Buzz is not afraid to take his shirt off and join in the work. I bet the kids respect that. If they feel that he cares about them, is willing to work with them and push them, I'm thinking they will give everything they got. Buzz is a good dude.
I doubt any UVA basketball players could do this *ducks and hides*
Why are you ducking and hiding? That's welcomed around here!
Are we sure Buzz is not SR's father? I have only seen him in shirts and ties (and obviously that sweet ass sweater) but he looks pretty stout and neckless so maybe he taught them all truck pushing?
I think the video along with posts on Buzz's website (http://coachbuzzwilliams.com/2015/06/vtraw-the-truck-push/) is brilliant--the entire thing. It's great marketing, strength and conditioning training, team building, brand awareness, etc... As a player, Buzz is a coach I would want to play for. He's demanding, but expects nothing more of his players than he does himself. And he comes off as relatable.
I think #PushingTrucks should replace #ChoppingWood.
#TruckYeah or #TruckinA
He said he was trying to lose weight in that mean tweets video someone uploaded on here from his YouTube channel a couple weeks ago. For a basketball coach and 30+ year old, he looks to not only be in great shape but also strong as an ox. Just because you have a fat head doesn't mean you're a fat individual haha
This is fantastic. I'd like to see Tony Bennett #PushingTrucks. I don't think it would go so well.
Tony's too pretty to go and get all sweaty and all like that.
Don't know how I missed the article that went with it, awesome stuff. Thanks for adding that Joe.
Coach is willing to do everything he is asking his players to do. Can't get better buy in than that.
It's only fitting that they both are Fords. The timing chain went out on my Explorer. I could have lent them a car that needed to be pushed.
I had a Ford once. I used to park it in the far reaches of the student lot because it had enough of a hill to get up the momentum necessary to get a rolling start. Forty two years ago tomorrow, my wife and I got married in Pembroke, Va, almost on a whim. Giles County had no Justice of the Peace to marry us, so the folks at the courthouse set up a pastor in Pembroke willing to marry us that afternoon. Because we had a defunct starter, we had to leave the car running (Custom 500 four door sedan) in the flat parking lot of the church. When the preacher and his wife came in to meet us, he saw that the car was running and remarked "Boy, you folks are REALLY in a hurry to get married, huh?" Something in that car ate starters, and I finally got tired of pushing/rolling it to start it up. Sold it and never bought another Ford. Kept the wife, though, she was well worth the trouble, though she may have a different opinion on keeping me!
Great story and congratulations on Forty Two years!
congrats!
Thank you. Appreciate the kind words, and the annual chance to recall the "good ole days".
