The latest on 2016 WR Tino Ellis

Koma spoke with 2016 DeMatha Catholic wide receiver Tino Ellis Tuesday night. It's a Virginia Tech-Maryland race to the finish, and he's keeping whether it's the Hokies or Terps close to the vest.

Ellis believes he'll still announce in mid to late July

"Now Miami wants to talk about it." *Cue Enter Sandman*

Ellis says he also recently heard from new #Hokies commit Eric Kumah, who hopes they can play together.

Well Kumah is a Hokie, so that's got to be a good sign right?

it's good but he's also hearing from Dwayne haskins at UMD and he's the one who might be throwing him the ball. Seems like more positive news for the hokies lately so hopefully it stays that way.

Our QB commits have been tweeting him also.

Let's hope he likes our Dwayne more than he likes their's

I am the heartbeat of Blacksburg. A fortress built out of stone but made with champions.

think the relationship with cam is the most important honestly. From what I recall Phillips took ellis under his wing at dematha and was practically a mentor.

Don't give the recruiticorns so much power over you, they will "commit" when they do and it does not mean squat until they are on campus and competing with other D1 level talent in my biased opinion...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

Milking this cow, isn't he? :-) Have fun, Tino.

I prefer the Mook Reynolds approach: commit to the hokies then milk the process while letting his dad assure us that he's just trolling Clemson.

I miss Papa Reynolds' comments. He was entertaining to have around.

What was most entertaining were the people who never quite caught onto who he was, despite his username, which essentially gave it away.

That was my favorite TKP thread ever.

lol yeah... so much worry Mook was going elsewhere. He just casually strolls in, drops a Nope Bomb, and vanishes like tears in the rain.

Getting all the free visits from officials that he can--I like his thinking
