Hokies trainer Mike Goforth: "Facyson is doing great. You could never tell he was hurt."

David Teel published a solid injury update from Virginia Tech head athletic trainer Mike Goforth: http://www.dailypress.com/sports/teel-blog/dp-teel-time-goforth-injury-u.... Both Foster and Gray previously mentioned corner Brandon Facyson was recovering nicely from injury. It's good to hear Goforth corroborate that.

Goforth is bullish on defensive tackles Luther Maddy and Corey Marshall, and punter A.J. Hughes. He doesn't seem confident that Juice Williams will see any early action this season.

Great news on all the guys, but especially Facyson. He makes the secondary much deeper and makes the defense much better!

"Having that dawg on the other side of the field," Fuller said, "is really going to help."

Excellent news!

Best news I've heard all day.

Glad to head, definitely have one of the best secondary's in the country when he is healthy!

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

Having Facyson out there at 100% makes this defense (which most folks agree is already going to be a very good unit) pretty elite.

Some good news from the training room finally!

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.
