A friend of mine played in the WFA, and that is some smashmouth football. As far as fundamentals and technique go, I absolute agree that WFA experience translates to any other level of football in terms of coaching. I really hope she does well, because I never met a glass ceiling I didn't wanna see smashed.

Some of those comments... Plenty of people coach sports they never seriously played. If you know the game you know the game regardless.

Anyway the only problem I see is the sports media is going to blow this up, beat it to death, and cause problems for her then ruin it.

I think Paul Johnson is one of those coaches. Seemed to work out OK for him so far.

Bryan Stinespring never played a down of college football, and he's one of the better tight end coaches in P5 football.

This is a great story. Good for Bruce. He seems to be bringing a new culture to a downtrodden franchise and doing something for woman other than making them fill out a police report for domestic violence, which is a nice change for the NFL.
