Soooooo do they plan on playing in the dark or........
Someone should have told the Ravens and 49ers

They have literally run out of ideas...
This is when you realize that our Volleyball team looks to have uniforms that have overly reflective/dayglow numbers this season.
The rebrand is coming...
Probably will make for a pretty cool night time entrance with the lights off....basketball style.
I will say this, it makes us keep talking about the Ducks so they are doing something right...
I don't know that this is necessarily all that positive though. Glow in the dark uniforms seem like a giant gimmick to me. It's see it as an issue with them that the most notable thing they can point to is their thousands of uniform combinations.
...and two National Championship births in the last 6 years
...and 6 Pac 10/12 Championships since 2000
...and an Heisman award winner
...and top tier athletic facilities.
I said "most notable." Sure they have all of those things and yes I envy them for that. But all anyone ever talks about with Oregon is the jerseys. Even when Mariotta was winning a Heisman, it was Jameis with the headlines.
Really? Where do you go for your football discussion?
We're laughing at them, not with them.
If Nike was willing to give us what they give Oregon, I'd let them go absolutely crazy with our uniforms as well
Me, too, but at a certain point, it gets ridiculous.
If they were bankrolling our entire Athletic Dept with their billions of net worth, essentially allowing us to build and overhaul whatever the hell we want to remain at the cutting edge regardless of what our peers do, then they could dress us up as peacocks with full plumes coming out of the helmet, I wouldn't care.
Which is why this should probably be somewhat regulated also.
The NCAA regulates stipends and gifts from boosters, but not bling from shoe companies?
They mentioned Ohio State's glow in the dark shoes as well. Those sponsors want some publicity for their products.
Buckeyes leaves really look a lot like pot leaves...
I was really hoping someone had photoshopped this and made a green pair of kicks with pot leaves, but the internet has let me down.
I mean, they did this to themselves a few years back, no Photoshop required...
Clearly VT is not afraid to take fashion risks......short-sleeve windbreaker anyone?
I love having pockets on my sleeves, although I am military... actually pockets everywhere seems to be the theme. But I was looking to get this I like it!
Just about every school that wears Nike has these.
