A decision on whether or not William or Shai McKenzie will redshirt could come in a few weeks.
Both Frank and Shane Beamer said they'll wait until just before season starts to make redshirt decisions on McKenzie and Williams. #Hokies— Norm Wood (@normwood) August 11, 2015

I hope that the staff feels comfortable enough to redshirt both guys.
I'm so conflicted on these two guys. I want them both to redshirt for their health and so we don't have a crowded backfield like 2010, but Marshawn looked good in sprints and Shai should be even closer to full health.
What happened to his ankle?
Aye, is it supposed to be knee rehab in the title?
Really curious to see whether it's Joel Caleb or Drew Harris that steps up to fill that 4th RB role if we RS Shai and Juice.
/throws invisibility cloak over head and sprints away.
In a serious note, we have a stable of backs outside of them. JC, Trey, Trayvon, DJ Reid, Peoples, McClease and Fox likely redshirting. Rogers will likely be moved out of the RB role more.
Yeah we definitely aren't hurting for backfield depth. I'm pretty excited to see how Peoples develops in the FB role. Him surpassing Wright so quickly came as a bit of a (pleasant) surprise to me.
I love how we are debating if guys who tore their ACLs 9 and 10 months ago should redshirt and Bama has a guy who tore it in spring they were expecting back week 4?

Is it just me, or are there any HIPA concerns with the video. I guess if he knows it's going to get posted, and says it's ok, then, well, it's ok.
I am sure the players sign some stuff that says their likeness may be used in promotional things for the school and the departments as well as announcements about their status. Seeing that the video doesn't reveal anything that hasn't already been released(he is rehabing a publicly known injury), I think it would be ok.
I would think the closest thing to a HIPPA concern would be announcing a player's injury diagnosis publicly.
