Several Hokie players visited some local kids and got a pick up football game going. To me, Nigel Williams has a future as an offensive line coach. "Do you kids like cookies? Ok, the quarterback is the cookie. Protect the cookie!"
This is a fun mid-day watch.

Love that tackle at the end.
Me too and that kid hugging JC at the end.
I'd lean towards team bacon over team best team ever any day.
In related news, after watching this, Mike London has mailed out five more scholarship offers...
Yep. Hate to commit a sacrilege, but bacon wins over pretty much everything...and here's the sacrilege...even pie. And no, I won't duck.
We have such amazing young men on our team. So grateful!! Hokie Proud!
What a bad drop. Our passing game is doomed! Our QB is 5'6!
Darius Redman needs to work with kids after he graduates. He would make a great Kindergarten teacher.
He should apply to be the "Big Kid" teacher at Exum's Daycare and Recreation Center.
Exercise of the day: Wind Sprints... Every. Day.
Thanks for sharing, great job gentlemen!
More than anything on the field, this is the kind of thing that makes me proud to be a Hokie. Go Team Bacon!
:40 JC was trying to be like Marco Rubio
POW! Right in the kisser!
Awww, I have the most enormous smile on my face right now. That was adorable!
"Teeheehee" literally escaped my lips while watching. This is as good as cat videos, and had a dank soundtrack
Ok, Labor Day needs to get here. My first thought after watching this was, "I wonder if French will be breaking down this film?" I think I may not make it to Labor Day.
Lol, number 91 used to come to my parties and post up on the couch with his boys. Good times.
Hokie Nation is Strong in so many ways! Great stuff. Glad they are doing this kind of outreach. It looked fun for the players as well. JC got a nice hug back at the end!
Someone cutting onions around here?
I read the title and thought "cue the Sam Rogers jokes."
Awesome.
As a father of seven, no, those aren't my eyes welling up. Nope, not me...
Automatic upvote for having more kids than me (4). The world will always need a few more little Hokies.
You've got your own 7-on-7 team!
Well at least it went better than the last pick up game that made football news. Looking at you, Exum.....
This is awesome, but for some reason all that pops into my head is this:
