Hokie Women's Soccer

In a match that went double OT, the 9th ranked Lady Hokies fought to a 1-1 tie with the Lady Vols Sunday evening. There were quite a few "almost" scores for both teams. The big surprise was the volume of fans out to support the ladies. The SEC Vols were much smaller on average than our ladies but they seemed to be faster down the field consistently. All in all, it was a hard-fought exciting match.

Is Hokie soccer televised, ...or can I catch it on watchespn?

It was on ESPN3.

Awesome to hear about the support Women's Soccer and Wrestling realistically are VT's best hopes for our first team NCAA titles.

our swim team is pretty freaking good too...maybe not national championship, but they've had an awesome few years

Taylor, looking desperately throws it deep..HAS A MAN OPEN DANNY COALE WITH A CATCH ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FIVE!!!!....hes still open

Yea it was crazy when they broke UVA's dominance for that one ACC title. But to win it all they have to get past the SEC who are scary dominant in it from what I recall.

In all honesty, it was pretty underwhelming. We did not play well at all and UT in fact missed a couple very easy opportunities. This easily could have been an L for the Hokies, but good on them for fighting back to at least come out with a tie. The talent is there, but there's a ton of room for improvement for a relatively new 2015 squad.

The sign of a great team is to still come away with a success when things aren't going well.

Pure Awesomeness, ladies soccer is the new IT thing...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
