Please never think that Jim Harbaugh is anything but an enormous weirdo http://t.co/fSeR29t7w4 pic.twitter.com/ZTvAtfBYO7— The Solid Verbal (@SolidVerbal) September 1, 2015

What a looney tune.
Ha!
Frank actually talks about this in Let me be Frank. But ironically it played out a little differently there. He described Harbaugh as very "sharp" after making the Samford comment. All i can say is LOL
Probably took him 30 seconds to find a college team that was similar in name to Stanford. Does Samford even have a football team?
He was still probably yelling at the officials "Tyrod was out of bounds on that throw, the Georgia Tech QB was out of bounds before he threw that TD", which is why they let the play continue. And for you football historians, the game ended at halftime.
That guy is nuttier than a squirrle turd. I can't wait to see the circus come to Ann Arbor. What happens when he goes 5-7 this year?
I mean, the guy is a loon... But he can coach, I doubt they go 5-7.
Tyrod asked him at the end of the play if he was out and Harbaugh told him that he wasn't. I'm sure a lot of coaches would freak out if a play happened that close to the sideline right in front of them.
Seems like a lot of irrational hate for never having met the guy.
But....isn't that what the internet is for?
in the Orange Bowl, Stanford was running right through our defense. Jim Harbaugh started to rub it in. very unsportsmanlike. I thought bud foster might run across the field and tackle him. Even Jon Gruden thought it was a classless move.
I'm all for rubbing it in. This is football, not little league baseball. I often think Frank plays too conservative when having a lead. UNless it is some overmatched FBS scrub, drop the hammer.
I know Harbaugh was just using gamesmanship to try to distract Tyrod on that play, thats just his style. Was more of a joke. I also know the game didn't end at halftime.
I respect the coach. Turned around Stanford and the Niners in short order with a lot of the same players that were not successful before he got there. But he is kinda out there.
I hope he does give anOSU some pressure, they don't really have anyone pushing them.
Bobby Bowden played at Samford and later coached there. Terry Bowden then coached there. Jimbo Fisher played at Samford.
Well this might explain some of the loonies...
Forrealz? It's too uncanny.
My god, what is this from?!
Judge-frickin'-Judy. Believe it or not, he's a huge fan. No joke.
Edit: to include an example.
Jim Loves Judy
Knowing this has made my life complete.
You just can't make this up.
Wtf
He has a little bit of a Quagmire shaped face.
This guy.... what a loon.
Man how awkward. But I could totally picture it.
This is what I think was going on in Beamer's head when Harbaugh was talking.....
.
I love Harbaugh, but he acts like a guy who played behind a really bad OL much of his career. Which he did.
Jim Harbaugh is an asshole. He showed up Bud Foster in that Orange Bowl on a play where the offense shifted like 3 times. I'll never forget it.
They were up 40 in the 4th and they were shifting multiple times just to rub our noses in it. Fuck Harbaugh
It was from a classy move but Stanford won 40-12 and we didn't score in the 2nd half so they definitely weren't up 40 at any point in the 4th quarter.
The way we played that second half, they might as well have been up 90... we weren't coming back at that point.
I can agree with that. Harbaugh was a total jackass (assuming it was his call) to have the players shift around (to that extent) in what was perceived to be a show boating fashion but I have zero issue with him and his team keeping their foot on the gas pedal in that situation.
That's the thing, though... they weren't even keeping the foot on the gas. Every play at that point was essentially a run up the middle for 2-3 yards. We had thrown in the towel and they knew it.
But still, they would immediately get up to the LOS, not allowing us to sub anyone out, run about 3 shifts, wind the playclock down to 5 or less, and snap the ball. It was a dick move for the hell of it.
I pray Bud is head coach when we play Michigan in 2020 and 2021. When the game is all but over late, and we're holding onto a double digit lead, I hope we return the favor.
I hate to be that guy....but what's so wrong with shifting that much? It's a tactic on offense to get the match-ups you need, be it down 40 or up 40, or anything in between. I don't see anything wrong with it, and if we did, I wouldn't see anything wrong with it either.
I have also never understood the outrage. We got badly outcoached and got out tails kicked on the field.
Didn't like Michigan (D.C.C.T.B) after the sugar bowl, don't like them now.
Not MIchigan's fault if the officials blew the call.
That article was a very interesting read. I took a couple things from it....
1. Jim Harbaugh might seriously have some mental health issues. Harbaugh has been known to be very awkward in social situations as he often doesn't know what to say and pauses for a long time before he can muster anything that might pass as a rational thought. I've seen him in several low key interviews and he is always a deer in the head lights. Jim just isn't like the rest of us. He is "special."
2. Jim will always be carried by his obsessive personality and over inflated ego. I do think Jim will find success at Michigan because he will literally out work everyone on the planet until his staff is burned out and can't take it anymore. Jim has been great wherever he has gone, but he has left a burning trail of assistant coaches, players, GMs, and owners in his wake. He will win at Michigan, but not before he gives the Michigan AD a heart attack.
3. Urban will make Jim shit in his khakis at some point. I'm not sure when, but I hope camera crews are on the look out.
Well apparently there will be a Khaki cam on Jim at all times during the season. At least I saw something like that on Twitter the other day.
I think I'm going to be sick.
I'm looking forward to the renewal of your rivalry with them. That 2006 game was one of the better games I've ever seen.
Yeah, watching that game was a great pre-game for the VT-Wake game that night.
Joined up a tailgate that had the game playing on a big screen in the parking lots, and even the police that were patrolling by parked their cars, got out, had a drink, and watched with us. Good times.
It will be fun. Its nice when the coach of your enemy is easy to hate. It was hard to hate Brady Hoke because he constantly mumbled and just seemed like a laid back guy who was borderline aloof. Jim Harbaugh is a in-your-face maniac with an ego the size of Mt. McKinley....err, Denali.
What are you wearing, "Jim from Michigan"

Damn! Oh no, I'm blind!
MY EYES CANNOT UNSEE THIS
This just helps solidify how i feel about JH. I'll leave it at that
Let's not forget when this clown-shoe punched Jim Kelly (who was a broadcaster at the time) in 1997:
What a turd.
How the hell do you get in a fight with Jim Kelly? Thats like getting in a fight with Regis Philbin! Pretty hard to do unless you are a complete ass clown.
^
This.
If Jim Kelly says you are a softie baby, you are most likely a softie baby.
I'm sorry, I just found out about this and I had to see if TKP commented on it. It's amazing Harbaugh is such a good coach when he clearly has some communication issues. I wonder if he'll ever wear out his welcome at Michigan.
