In another post somebody said our record is about the same when wearing orange as otherwise, but I find that hard to believe, so count me in the awful category for orange in large quantities. Orange pants are the worst, to be sure.
The only good thing about this is, if we do beat anOSU, and they make silly excuses like "Bosa was suspended" or "Bud Foster did something different, that wasn't fair," we can come back with "Yeah, but we were wearing orange and still beat you!"

From VT Equipment twitter, they have black shoes with with Nike and swoosh on them packed up for the game. (They also tweeted out the maroon jerseys several weeks ago and that was what it turned out to be so I'm assuming the black shoes are a go for this.) Almost game week. Interesting going with the black shoes. I'd have gone orange helmets, gloves and shoes with maroon jersey and pants. But I'd wouldn't have used the jersey stripes because that's a classic look, as opposed to going with a trendier chrome helmet.
I still think we will look very good, but I think we could've made just a couple changes to make these uniforms great.
