This is legit. Ties in the #ALLMAROONEVERYTHING crowd but still plays the orange to a perfect amount. Not sure who to thank for it but they knocked it out of the park.
I will never understand the fascination with #ALLMAROONEVERYTHING. With that said, the helmet, gloves, and orange accents on the uniform go so well together and gives the uniform the "pop" that it needs. Looks very sharp.

Black socks and cleats are a longtime tradition with VT football.
Those are just the basic black Nike cleats. They were worn all last year. Nike just adds the little neon green to give them a little flare, nothing special to VT.
Give me some orange laces or something...shit.

Don't know where else to post this, but the Snapchat feed today is full of practice clips and the team is wearing the orange lids. They look VERY good in action. Can't wait to see them with the #MAROONEVERYTHING look come Monday night.

I know way OT but has anyone noticed how many @$$hole OSU fans there are?? I mean on sites like BR and other "non biased" media outlets it seems like every other team we play has the crappiest fans. I know we, like everyone else, have our share of black sheep but seriously you go to any site and I swear the way people talk on there makes me violent. No need for that! maturenon dickish fan base.No need to bad mouth them. They definitely have some strong homers and band wagoners but they have some legitimately awesome, knowledgeable, and mature fans. Focus on those ones. They're the ones I want to have a beer with.

I've got a few friends who are Ohio State fans, and they're great people. Ignore the bad apples.
Yeah, they have probably about the same proportion of @sshat fans as we do, but a bigger fan base. Accuracy by volume. I will say that I've generally noticed that fans who didn't actually go to OSU seem to make up the majority of the bad eggs. Every OSU alum I've met has been a top-notch fan.

For a long time I thought this was the case. I worked with an alum from there who was just a terrible person in general, and he barely talked about sports. But I've heard nothing but good things from the Hokies who went to Columbus last year, and I will be watching the game in Spain with a OSU law school alum who's become probably my best friend over in this part of the world.
I learned long ago message boards on most "independent" sites are for trolls and idiots, like a comments section on a news article.

Didn't think this needed it's own thread, but thought I would share the helmet sticker that my Alma Mater is using on their helmets during their home opener Saturday night.
Slightly OT, my wife watches tennis, and she has pointed out several times someone on court is sporting orange and maroon colors. Seems like it's a hot combo there this year. I know it's tennis, but maybe it's an omen?
