HokieVision called it the "Enter Sandman video" on Twitter. Take that for what you will. I doubt they'd have anything with narration on the video board just to be drowned out by other audio. My guess is it's something that leads into Sandman.

ESPN is going all out with the production of our intro on Monday. Like ALL OUT for this production. And considering they're also going to be here for GameDay an hour before the game, and we're now teasing a special intro....
I dunno, certainly seems like there might be something more to this event than we know... Dare I say, maybe something being played live?

For what it's worth, Whit was at the Charlotte alumni picnic a few weeks ago and said Metallica would not be in Blacksburg so not to get your hopes up. Could be just trying to surprise everyone, but he instantly dispelled that one.

Going off what I said in the other thread, I wouldn't be surprised if we got some footage of them playing on their current tour. Probably a huge lift to sync up with them live, but recorded is probably a viable option. They're not going to be in the Burg, but I suspect they might show up in a different way.

please be holographic stream of a live performance wherever they are in Europe. I mean we are a freaking technology university. if cochella can get tupac we should be able to swing this.

I'd rather be surprised in a good way, than have a great entrance that somehow gets perceived as a let-down.
I suspect a vast majority of Lane would need to change their pants should it actually happen.
