I know you Hokies don't play Michigan, but I think tonights game will be fascinating to watch for everyone. I'm not sure what to expect. I think Harbaugh will come out with a limited passing and run the ball 40+ times tonight. I think he is going to line up and just try and run it down their throat the old fashioned way. As we all know, Harbaugh is all about toughness and crappy Walmart khakis. Utah has a solid D line though so I'm not sure how well that will work. I think Utah pulls it out 28-21, but I say that with zero confidence. You guys have any predictions on this one?

Knowing nothing about either team because I don't care about either team I'd say Utah wins because they play at home.
Utah out of nothing more than pure, unadulterated spite
We've enjoyed your company over the last few months, OSU fans, and we can all agree on this:
IT WAS A CATCH

GO UTES
Amen!
I AGREE THAT IT WAS A CATCH
Damn right it was a catch. Pissed me off seeing the replay & call.
Will never forget being in the stadium, seeing the catch and having no idea if it was good. Then three different people watching it home all texted me saying there was no way it could get overturned... they were wrong.
This is why I think the replay system needs to be overhauled. Two video replay officials, kept separate with no communication with each other. Both send their signal down to the head referee. If the two signals disagree, it wasn't indisputable. If they do agree, overturn. Shouldn't be left to one person to determine it.
Especially if you watched the Carolina-Carolina game last night. Old man had a 42" monitor 12" in front of his face and has his hands up in the air at one point watching a replay. Then he's checking a laminated sheet to see what he needs to do. It was quite amusing, only for the fact that it wasn't our game. But for future reference it was quite scary.
Utah, Michigan implode under the weight of Harbaugh's ego.
Mind says Michigan.
Heart says not Michigan.
Yep. I can't decide if I really believe Utah is going to win or if I am being blinded by hate of harbaugh.
OT, I am really looking forward to the upcoming Harbaugh and Urban rivalry. Should be one for the ages.
Michigan. do not doubt the 'Baugh.
UTAH should be a better team right now, but I'll never bet against Harbaugh. He's a monster
Wut? No.

I more meant what he did to us. But also generally as a human being
I got some real life, points count, under the lights football. I don't give a shit who wins just missed it so damn much. It's like a drug that makes the world seem right again!!
There is literally no offensive talent left at Michigan. Even harbaugh can't work that kind of magic. 24 - 13 utes
He did mask Alex Smith's suck though. Overall they've recruited talented players (from star perspective) over the years, just didn't cultivate it. That won't be a problem with Harbaugh - love him or hate him, every place he's gone he's taken bad programs to great.
He made a white running back a Heisman finalist. Enough said.
Should have won it too, if more voters had stayed awake to watch Pac-10 (now 12) football, he might have. But the power of Bama's first ever Heisman winner was too strong.
(pro careers aside)
Also helped that Alabama was undefeated vs an 8 win Stanford.
But yea Stanford vs Alabama no contest
Utah Utes: 27-24. Utah gets out early, Michigan falls just short of a comeback. Actually kind of interested to see what Michigan looks like this year. I just don't think they have the offense to beat good teams.
I (now) live in Michigan and used to pull for them when they did not play VT, and also my wife is a die-hard fan (but I now have VT as her favorite team so there is that). Having said all that I now root for whatever team is playing against them because of 'the catch'. My feelings have been solidified due to the graciousness of all anOSU fans that have been on this site (although I do root for the other team under my breath because, you know, my wife and all).
But I do think Utah is good enough to win by 10.
Utah by 14.
It was a catch.
I'd love for Utah to win, but it's probably going to be Michigan. But my gosh, can you imagine ESPN if Utah pulls off the W?
holy crap we have lunch pail singularity. Buckeyes are doomed...
Utah isn't top end, but at home they certainly have enough talent to defeat a subpar Michigan team.
Harbaugh will get them on the right track, but I don't see it game 1.
Utah did relatively well in the PAC12 last year going 9-4, and they return most of their talent I believe. ...Michigan recruits well, and they've got the looney bin that is Harbaugh... but I'm not quite sure if they'll turn it around in QUITE so early. Especially having to play AT Utah. Here I'm going to say Utah. ..but in my college pick em, I chose Michigan.
Are you playing the same Pick Em I am? I did not see that game on it.
It all depends on your groups settings. Yahoo allows you to choose the types of games that show up for Pick ems: you can choose default where Yahoo decides, top 25 and/or specific conferences. Other sites might do the same but I am not sure since my group has only ever used Yahoo.
I do ESPN's game, and to my knowledge they have never included games played before Saturday.
Utes win handily.
Yoo tah!
Utah.
Fuck Michigan.

May their entire game plan look like their punter.
.
I can't stop watching this... why does she turn her head so fast? She is so drunk she forgets where she is? Her friend farted? Actually that must be it based on the face the guy behind them is making. Definitely a fart.
The look on dudes face when he realizes what just happened is just priceless
Either that or a really deadly Michigan fart has wafted his way.
Fuck Jim Harbaugh with the Upper Peninsula. Go Utes.
Whenever there's 2 teams that aren't VT or even in the ACC, I usually just think which team losing would benefit us more. We do recruit against Michigan but not with Utah so rooting for the Utes on this one.
(I know one loss doesn't have a huge impact but just how I choose who to root for)
UNC vs. South Carolina is a tougher choice as we compete with both in recruiting.
I would say we compete with UNC much more in recruiting. I hate UNC, but have to pull for the acc over $ec
Agree. Overall we compete with UNC much more.
I think OL Pete Leota is down to us and USCe so I wouldn't mind them having a down year though.
Speaking of recruiting, 4* TE Jovani Haskins is taking an OV to the Burg this weekend, and our main competition here, Rutgers, is at the center of a report that five of their players have been charged with assault.
Yeah well, if we come out in a bear front, JT might try and get five of our guys charged with assault after the game.
Hokies.
I will never say Michigan. Beards don't have to be rational. Utah takes it in Salt Lake City
Dallas
The home teams win in week 1, so Utah...
Harbaugh didn't make enough halftime adjustments.
