Football is officially here, college Gameday is on. They are doing a tribute to Fowler and he thanked Frank Beamer and VT for helping make Gameday what it is.

Man, I'm gonna miss Chris Fowler on GameDay
I like Rece, but man, Chris Fowler is gonna be a tough act to follow. Loved his Beamer shoutout.
Other notes so far:
The first sign that was readable on the opening was for Tomball, TX. Represent.
I've seen two VT signs.
I enjoyed the currency jokes from Bear.
They need to have a poll each week regarding whether George Whitfield or Des Howard was better dressed.
Lil Wayne thinks 12 Gauge. Apparently that opinion somehow has weight.
I'm hanging out with the three month old this morning so I've missed a lot of the visuals. Mom took the 2 and 4 old to gymnastics and to shop thinking it would give me a break. Then the baby decided it's WAKE UP EARLY TIME!!!
Hey man, the baby just didn't want to miss out on any of the action.

We as VT fans need to thank Chris Fowler as well. He has also done a lot for VT, especially after 4/16. One of the best in the business, but he is an even better man than commentator.

If you're watching the game in Hooville and driving after, Citizen Burger Bar is the place to do it. And since UVA plays at 230, there should be plenty of sad wahoos to laugh at.
Nope. Not staying in Hooville. SO's parents live in Roanoke so after the wedding we're going straight there to catch the game. Wedding is at 2 and will only last a couple hours. It's a really small wedding on a small farm in Earlysville near where I grew up. We know the people who own the land.

Anyone catch the song by Paisley? If he plays that on Sunday without changing any of the words, there's gonna be a lot of boos. Name drops WVU, Tennessee, FSU, Miami, and freaking UVA.

Yeah Eastern European accents can get weird. To the day he died, my grandfather had a THICK Czechoslovakian accent. It was awesome having conversations with him
