when there is 50/50 chance of beating the national champs, you must be doing something right.
when ESPN gives you a chance against the unanimous # 1 team in the nation, you must have gained some respect.
When ESPN gives you a chance against the #1 in the nation, it means that they are afraid that viewers will tune out, thinking that the game will be a blowout. Sorry, but I'm all kinds of cynical about anything ESPN says or does these days. That said, all things considered, 50-50 sounds about right.
