Although I'm not enamored with Andy's score prediction, I think he's spot on with some of the key matchups(Fuller covering Thomas, our offensive line vs. their defensive line).

Looking at OSU's depth chart again, I see Eli Apple, a freshmanredshirt sophomore*, as one of the starting corners. Both backups are also freshmen. What do you think, TKP'ers, can Isaiah Ford and/or Cam burn Eli for some big gains?

* sorry, typo in the OSU depth chart

Also, I hope our punt coverage team eats their Wheaties Monday morning, so we can contain Braxton. Better yet, punt away from him!

Hokie in West Africa...sadly, I can't jump up and down hard enough for it to be felt in Lane

When people talk about Braxton Miller, I have my theory that his "athletic" ability won't come into play until middle of the season. Even if he was practicing running routes during the offseason he just started playing WR last month. They will use him as an HB direct handoff to run, or screen pass, or slants (maybe) but I don't see him being something to worry about as all around WR. Thoughts?

"Can our receiving corps do it?"

Yes!

"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. " Rocky B.

This is what I'm asking about over on 11W. I don't know what their corners look like, but I know what Isaiah, Cam, and Bucky look like, and I think that match up might look good.

He's breakable, has a major fumbling problem, and has never returned punts before. I say we should hope like hell he's returning punts tomorrow. Tremaine or McKinnon may be able to make a game-changing play.

No AB KOD? Now we have a chance!

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

I looked back at some highlights from last year's game and there were a couple of plays from Derek DiNardo. For a second I didn't remember that he was a redshirt senior last year. Then I went back and looked at his player page on HokieSports , and he played a LOT for us. I'm wondering how much of a loss he'll be.

I'm also have no idea what to expect from Motuapuaka in a starting role, and at this point I have no idea of Ronny VanDyke...pretty much at all. Deon Clarke, I don't worry about at all.

Motuapuaka played a lot for us last year. Stepped in when called upon and played well. Not perfect, and not a world-beater but he was in on a lot of tackles. There are some plays that have been discussed on here where he over-pursued and was out of position at times. I think he will be solid there.

I feel a lot better about Motuapuaka now than I did at the beginning of camp based on Bud's comments, although, of all our defensive players, he definitely has the most to prove. The fact that he's practically got to go 1 on 1 vs Zeke Elliott really scares me.

The biggest loss from last year's OSU game is Jarrett, no question.
