James Conner, the most feared RB in the ACC, reigning ACC Player of the Year, and one of the top RBs in the country, is out for the season after getting injured against Youngstown State.

That's a real tough break for him, hope he gets healthy next year. Tons of big injuries this opening weekend. Virginia lost two OLinemen
UCLA lost Vanderdoes, BYU lost Taysom Hill (and still won without him), Clemson lost Mike Williams. There are a few others too. Always sucks when you lose guys opening weekend *knocks on wood*
Syracuse lost starting QB Terrell Hunt and ND lost their starting RB as well.
Luckily Mike Williams should be okay after a while. Said they were gonna reevaluate after 6 weeks. Was scary when I saw he got carted off.

Ouch. Not sure Pitts ability without him now. His backup did good but it was against Youngstown st. However Pitt usually fields pretty solid rb's so they should be ok. Sucks for him though.
actually the guy who ran for all the yards was the third team back. James is the backup when Ibrahim was lost. . Pitt has now lost their top 2 backs. Ibrahim was lost in camp

That sucks for him. Really hope he gets back to form and it doesn't hurt his career. on the bright side, you all might have a chance against them now.
Whoa whoa whoa....James Connor was good but in no way did I expect us to roll over for them. Pitt may be a thorn in our side but I never go into that game expecting to lose. I would say that his loss just really hurt their chances at beating us.
With all due respect to James Connor, I still think we would have "had a chance" against them anyways.
