Thanks to all the Hokie fans on here for being so welcoming to us Buckeyes. I've been to a lot of opposing fans sites and several have been less than respectful. Everyone on TKP has been classy, insightful, and made my overall experience extremely positive. So thanks yall!
About 4 hours to game time and I still don't know how I feel. This is a rare game in which I literally have no idea what to expect from either team. How many snaps will Cardale play, if any? Will Braxton actually be an x-factor? Will Brewer look like Joe Montana again on 3rd and long? Does Bosa get replaced adequately or does this pass rush get exposed? No idea.
My heart tells me that Ohio State prevails 28-21. We will do just enough to get by in the passing game and Zeke/JT combine for 200 rushing yards....... My head on other hand realizes that Foster will make us pass to win and we are really hurting in the receiving corps because of the suspensions. Foster is the best at what he does and his scheme is the perfect defense to stall our offense. Because of this, my mind tells me that VT wins 24-17 as Foster continues to crowd the line and shut down Zeke. Could see it going either way. Regardless, expecting an awesome game tonight!!!

I'm with you, as I also have no clue. predicting a loss is against my fan rules, so I'll go with 28-24 Hokies. With Elliot having a much better game than last year.
AFTER this game. It will be nice knowing there are really cool OSU fans...Now though, good luck.
This is my first post after a couple years of reading all the great material here at TKP... If Elliot gets going, the Buckeyes pull away in the 4th to win by 14-17 points (as has happened in the past against power running teams). However, if the Hokies offense can convert 3rd downs, like they did last year, I really like our chances (as the D will get plenty of rest)! I'll go with my heart here and predict a low scoring affair and a win for the Hokies... 24-20.
Same. No idea what will happen, but the fact that my Hokies CAN win says it all for me.
And you can't win big games unless you play big games. Hats off to OSU for taking us on.
It's been a real pleasure having you Buckeyes here. Thanks for the intriguing discussion.
Good lord, Cinci...I've been working on my house all day trying to stay busy...ya know,
"idle hands/devil's work" and all.
Then I see your ID pic #visuals, and I can take no more. It's beer time!
Let's hope this lame old boy isn't out by 9.
I predict that Isaiah Ford and Trey Edmunds become 2 of OSU's least favorite Hokies. VT 34, OSU 24.
And that both teams win their conferences and meet again in the playoff. I can dream...
I hope your mind is right on this one!
24-14 Hokies. WE CAN COMPETE WITH ANOSU WE DID IT LAST YEAR AND WON IN THEIR STADIUM. That wasn't a fluke, it was a testament to how good this team IS when we play as a team. This is one of those nights, the guys have never been more focused. This is OUR YEAR. Go Hokies!
Now you know that Urban Meyer just dodged a bullet. But the better team won.
