Ohio State did the same thing for their bowl-ineligible undefeated season last season.
ohio state also went 12-0 haha. not that i think they should get rings for it but its more reasonable than an 8-4 season when you one your division

Were they actually the "coastal divison champion"? Since they were ineligble for post-season play (and therefore the championship game)...I believe Georgia Tech was the CD champion (not to mention Miami). Did GT get rings and declare themselves divisionals champs? If so, you can only have 1...wonder what the offical ACC guide says about it?
I might be delusional, but didn't we get division champ rings every time we won? I thought I remembered players showing off division champ, acc champ, then bowl rings in the same year.
I could go check the case with all the rings, but I'm on my break.

Per your request. Not the best quality, but the lighting in there sucks for phones/cameras. Those that have never been to the hall of legends, I recommend the next time you are in Blacksburg to stop in the Merryman Center to check out the whole thing.

Why not let them get rings for doing nothing. They get degrees for doing nothing too. The 8-4 on the side isn't their record it's the hardest math problem they will see on their math final. Smart, fast and physical are on their spelling final. Just another way to help out the team.
Is there a way we can have the NCAA further investigate the University of Non Compliance for this?
It's just UNC's way of telling the NCAA and the ACC to "Eff Off."
not only will you get straight A's in your classes that dont exist. unc will also give you rings for other accomplishments you dont deserve or earn...good lord this is ridiculous

Georgia got them too. Albeit, they had a slightly better record, but still, rings for division championships.
