Some interesting games this week. Starting with a random 1130am start for FSU, not sure how that will effect Gameday. Then at noon we can see if Mich can start winning some games. At 3:30 we can see how many ND fans invade LOLUVA, although they announced this week that ND returned tickets to LOLUVA for the game which was surprising. At 6pm we can see if Tenn is "back". Matchup ups of top 10's in MSU vs Oregon at 8pm. What non Hokie game should we watch?

Oregon gave up 42 points to Eastern Washington. They better shore their defense up or Michigan State will run them out of town.
Gameday ends at 11:30.
I'm at work, where there's TV but no cable, so I'm just gonna leave it on ABC with the two state of Oregon invading Michigan games bookending Notre Dame decimating C-ville.
I'm also gonna keep an eye on ECU at Florida, ESPN2 at 7pm. Both to see what we're up against, and how ECU fares against a Power 5 team not named Virginia Tech.
Rematch of last year's bowl game
Don't look now, but Miami is having a rough night...
Currently tied with FAU in the 3rd quarter, 20-20.
It seems as though Tom Izzo has a doppelganger that works for Miami.
The info bar on the cable box last night read "The Miami Hurricanes attempt to keep their championship hopes alive tonight vs the FAU Owls". I thought that was a great troll by whoever writes those
Notre Dame fans probably didn't buy tickets through the school because getting them in other ways is probably significantly cheaper. They're going on stub hub for about $50
Anyone else catch that they added some new shots to the Gameday opening this morning? Definitely saw a quick shot of Braxton in our end zone.
If they're gonna show an OSU play from that game, they might as well put the spin in.
Watching FSU and Nnadi and Ryan Izzo starting on their respective sides. A bit of a bummer.
Game day had a piece on how well Coleman Thomas is doing at center for UT.
USFs QB reminds me of motley.
I thought that too.
Any reason the FSU game started at 11:30?
With the OSU QB situation resolved, ESPN realized they were going to come up 30 min short of a full GameDay show, so they asked F$U to bump up kickoff.
Lol. Seriously, though, it's for the US Open. Which would be hilarious if the game went into OT.
South Fla. just tied FSU up at 7, and with any skill at all should be up by 7. FSU has a game bunch of Bulls to contend with.
BIG teams are not looking great so far. MICH and PSU both looking sloppy.
Just like last week
USF is looking like the better team right now. #GoACC?...
Harbaugh is running the offense that I thought Loeffler was going to run at Tech. He's building a great mentality and identity, even if he's not getting amazing results yet.
If he can recruit (and who can't recruit at Michigan?) he is going to rebuild that program in a couple of years.
Cardale Jones has convinced me to side with Big Blue in this rivalry. I like Harbaugh, I like his offense. I strongly dislike Cardale Jones.
Golson looks terrible.
Golson obviously has talent, but I can't fathom why Jimbo would bring him in after that epic meltdown in the second half of the season.
Because that Maguire guy sucks.
Kanell just picked UVA to beat Notre Dame.
Awwwwburn losing to Jacksonville State at halfime 10-6
BC 41, Howard 0, 3 mins left in 1st qtr.
Why are these FCS games legal?
Because FBS schools like having 7 home games, and FCS schools like the payday they get for playing FBS teams.. as long as people keep buying tickets to see this type of game they will continue
I applaud the b10 and WVU for swearing them off for the future. Whit should do the same.
We can't kick UVA out of the conference so we have to play 2 of them every year...
Brett McMurphy just tweeted that BC was "seal clubbing" Howard. Any bets on how long before the PETA backlash?
Auburn got a gift TD with a very visible hold call on a D lineman not being called.
Howard's coach better request a running clock against BC in the second half, or the dudes are going to drop 100 on them.
Isn't BC breaking in an entire new OL this year?
Wtf is Louisville doing though
Struggling with an AAC team
So Auburn loses a ranking spot or two after this right?
I'm not convinced Auburn is gonna pull this one out
Michigans RB has run over at least 8 guys this game
Big 4th down coming up for J-State against Auburn
WTF is auburn doing with themselves.
Watching this has me nervous for Furman
Now Auburn gets to play for the tie
Jacksonville state?...Woah
Auburn just got big boyed by an FCS school that drive. Ran right down their throats.
Also on that one QB read. The defense read the contain perfectly and the qb was still just too fast around the edge
SEC speed!
Shows that preseason rankings are garbage and SEC especially SEC Weat bias is alive and well.
No it doesn't. Losing to JMU didn't mean we were overrated either. Crazy days happen
Auburn has played like crap in two games one to an FCS team. This also isn't a case of just a few lucky plays or fumbles Auburn had been worked up and down the field by Jacksonville state. Auburn is NOT a top 20 team.
The SEC west beat a ranked ASU and WIsconsin team. Plus Louisville. Auburn is flat getting beat today, but crying sec bias is dumb.
ASU went into the game an underdog not really an upset. One of the best teams in the SEC/nation beat WISCY. Louisville is barely beating Houston and had plenty of chances to beat Auburn but didn't take advantage.
If it wasn't an upset shouldn't that show that the better team won? That the unranked SEC team was better than a ranked P12 team? Wheres the bias? The SEC won week 1, no way around that
This game shouldn't even be this close, lots of non calls for Auburn.
Jacksonville State gets state of Alabama bragging rights!
Bahaha Auburn fair caught a kickoff with plenty of room to run
How is Muschamp looking after giving up 450 yards in this game so far
HAHAH turnover!!!
FUMBLE by awwwburn
J State ball, lol
Auburn might drop to #10 in the polls now.
Toughest week in and week out college football schedules, can't move them too far down.
But they could still make the playoffs with one loss because they are in the sec
and a storm knocks out the satellite signal right now
HORRIBLE punt by Jacksonville St. It went 17 yards.
Auburn scores off that bad punt to tie it up.
Horrible punt. And the Jax St defense lays down to give up the tie. Ugh.
Add in that unsportsmanlike penalty after the Auburn fumble. That was huge.
coach just looked at kicker and said "are you kidding me"
Still the #6 team had to go into Overtime at home to beat a Division 2 team, I can see Auburn dropping quite a few ranks now.
Normally yes. But, because SEC, the story will be how they "found a way".
Embarassing
Maryland, too:
It's fitting
Apparently they sold out and filled in, so good on them. Forgot to account for rogue fullers though
Jacksonville should not have taken a knee with 39 seconds left.
Just hoping Auburn drops but wouldn't be surprised to still see them in the top ten.
Jville St blew it. They had a tackle to force 4th down and three players missed.
horrible decision by Jenkins
Louisville is 0-2 were they preseason picks to be pretty good and contend for the ACC?
The last time tech was 0-2 we went undefeated the rest of the regular season. So I wouldn't count them out, none of their games have counted for the conference
Baron is a quick motherfucker
A Fuller just put ND up on LOLUVA
I haven't really been paying attention to their game, but how is Hawaii making OSU look human?
UVA leads ND, 27-26 with just under 2 min to go. 2-pt conversion failed.
Fuller beats UVA!
haha uva
Someone please tell me there will be a screen-grab of that Hoo guy flopped forward over the wall somewhere...
This is LOLUVA football under Timecop.
I wondered how long it would take for this to show up online. Thank you so very, very much.
BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
I hate ND, but that TD with 12 seconds left just made me very happy.
TWO POINT CONVERSION IS GOOD!!!
Last week I turned just in time to see the hail Mary at byu.
This week, I turned just in time to see the back up ND qb hit the game winning td.
I feel all fuzzy inside.
Contract extension for cml!
Toledo up 6 at Arkansas. Can we please have an upset today?
That would be nice. Auburn and ND came real close to getting upset by FCS teams today.
Looks like ECU won't be a pushover this year, despite all of the players they lost. And Florida still looks terrible.
Let's go Sooners! I would love nothing more than to see a Tennessee loss today.
Can anyone who was at the game OR really good eye tell me who was split out wide at WR with the 1's when VT went 4 wide.
The only times I took note it was usually the tight ends or a running back and a tight end. There was no clear #3 WR that got in to the game with the ones.
Toledo knocks off Arkansas. Arkansas had several players go down late with injuries.
Suck It SEC!
Never mind...just be aware the "suck it SEC" can be read as referring to the injuries, rather than the loss to Toledo.
Late game update:
Mizzou down to a surprisingly effective Arkansas State
Oklahoma narrowing the gap
Sparty up 7, already picked Oregon twice
Baylor letting Lamar stick around. Lamar didn't have a football team from 1989-2010.
Nevada hanging in there against Arizona. Worth monitoring.
Thank you Oklahoma
The end of that game was fantastic!
Bowling Green whipped MD badly, 48-27.
Saw this on Facebook, had to pass it along. #LOLUVA

10/10
Wow horrible ending for ECU trying to tie it up against UF. QB went to pass and thrall just flew out of his hands when he cocked back to throw it. UF recovers the fumble and the game is over.
And in so doing, Florida still did Florida things.
That one kinda made sense. Don't take the chance of something going wrong, take it down and kneel it out.
Sure, makes sense in context. It's just hilarious looking and given Florida's history of "unique" tactics.
Oregon has 33 non offensive tds since 2010. Most in fbs. I'd guess we have like 15
Oregon has life with 2 mins left, down a fg
BYU takes lead with 45s left off an amazing QB scramble and TD pass
Then Boise throws a pick 6 to seal the game
Good. Now we don't have to talk about Boise again all season because they now have zero chance at the playoff.
Now it will be all about BYU. I'd prefer Boise
I wouldn't take stock in BYU either.
They beat a not very good Boise, and a Nebraska team under a new head coach...on a Hail Mary.
They are bound to slip up.
Yeah, their next two games are at UCLA and at Michigan. They also have Cincy and at Missouri later on. I don't see them staying perfect, and one loss would probably be enough to knock them out of playoff contention.
Bingo. Boise has a cakewalk from here on out. BYU doesn't, so I'd rather BYU knock Boise out now, so BYU can get knocked out next week. Similar reasoning behind me pulling for UVA over Notre Dame. I know UVA is gonna lose later on (hell, probably against Boise), so beating Notre Dame makes it harder for the Irish to get in the playoff discussion without UVA getting into it. Now I'm stuck rooting for Notre Dame to knock down Georgia Tech next week, and then hoping Notre Dame drops a few others (Stanford, Navy, and Temple being the ones I'd most like to see do it. )
Maybe the QB situation will take care of Notre Dame.
Although, the independents and Group of 5 wildcards are in an interesting situation. I'm sure that there are some politics going on with the committee this year, since one of those outside teams would mean that two conferences are left out. And if it comes down to a Big 12 team vs. an "outsider", I'm sure they'll lean to the Big 12, since they didn't get in last year.
Generally, I'd think this to be true, but there's quite a bit of parity in the major conferences. The SEC could realistically cannibalize it's chances to put a team in the playoff, as could the PAC-12. The ACC is weaker now than in the last few years, so we could get ignored. The Big 12 is a gaping question mark, because TCU and Baylor haven't sold me, Oklahoma is better than expected, and West Virginia is markedly improved. If ever there was a year for an outsider team to make the playoff, this could be it. Then again, we've only just finished week 2, with a lot of great games left to be played.
