UVA tickets.

Just got some mail from UVA begging me to help sell out Scott Stadium. Offering a couple of different packages of tickets so you can fit it around any wine and cheese budget. Apparently I got on the list somehow after purchasing tickets to 38-0, bro a couple years back.

I just thought begging a fan of your rival to help sell out the game to your rival was delightful, and wanted to share.

I got one of those 2 years ago. I've never bought anything from UVa athletics and VT is the only school I've ever attended. Just weird how they got my information and why they would mail a ticket advertisement to Blacksburg. Makes me wonder if VT and UVa have a revenue sharing plan when we play in Charlottesville - we help them improve attendance, and they give us an extra cut of the proceeds...

That would be nice but they already pay us back by having so many tickets for us Hokies to buy and being an easy win at their place

I guess you've never sat in Scott Stadium and watched the 'Hoos file out well before the clock ticks 0:00 leaving 20,000 Hokies in the stands.

It's the same reason why my family refers to Scott Stadium at Duke as "VT South". By the end of the 1st half, the stands are Hokie-dominated. Same applies to any UNC home game where the 'Holes are down by more than 7. All the frat/sorority bodies lose interest and pack it up.

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

I believe Duke is Wallace Wade Stadium, and Scott is UVA's home turf... No matter their names though, they are all Lane Stadium {enter cardinal direction}...
