Y'all, I don't believe for one second that this team is no longer tough. That we can no longer dominate. What these players and these coaches absolutely CANNOT do is sit around and wait around for SOMEONE ELSE TO LEAD THE TEAM. What this team needs to do is stand up, whip Pitt's ass and never sit down!

For some reason, I kinda think that Bud realizes the importance of this game, in more ways than one. I think he will have the D fired up and ready to smash anything in front of them. Not sure how the field/footing will be due to all the rain though. That's probably my biggest concern (us relying on speed) rather than power on the defensive side of the ball. Hopefully the drainage system works and the footing will be a non-factor.
As far as the offense, I'm not terribly concerned. I think Motley's ability to run brings another dynamic to this game. I know this is a ramp up in the level of competition that he has faced, but I also think he has progressed to this point. I expect him to continue that this week.

what i meant by this was this is what I'd expect frank's reaction to be to a "circle the wagons" type speech...and judging from today's game, that's exactly what happened. a comatose head coach.
