My guess is we get a verbal from one of the guys that visited this past weekend. I know Andrew Brown and Mason Rudolph visited. Anybody know any others? Maybe it's Park who was recently invited to the Elite 11 camp/competition. Let's speculate.

huzzah!
could it be an Andrew Brown commit? fingers crossed..
Don't get your hopes up for a Brown commit this soon. He was supposedly a UVA lean before this weekend. I doubt one visit would completely flip that. Reavis was definitely here this weekend though. It could be anybody
I know, a guy can dream
Haha well I'm pretty sure he was wearing a shirt there that said Dream Killer...lol
I'm just sayin, Hand thinks that food is REALLY important and wouldn't say who has the best food. Although I think we all know what the answer to that question is. Just somethin' to think about.
my moneys on nnadi. seems like cj has been talkin to him a good amount and it seems from his tweets that he wants his recruitment to end soon, prayin its hand though!
I would not complain in the least if it was Nnadi.
what if it was Hand, Nnadi, and Brown committing to the Hokies all on one day. Hey i can dream
...then #Hokienation would collectively
Bud Foster would jizz himself
Haha that was my initial thought, but I thought better of googling "jizz gif" on my work computer...
Charley Wiles:

Bud Foster:

Good gracious, I love TKP....
A turkey leg for you for the Truman Show reference
That is assuming Foster's pant can contain all that jizz. Just sayin'.
Sooo...in all seriousness does anyone know or can give an educated guess as to what CJ is harping on about here....Also is it just me or is CJ the F*****G Man doing all this recruiting work for us...love this guy
Following CJ on vine (stupid freakin app) was one of my better decisions recently
It's probably one of the Oscar Smith guys that got offered this weekend. Which won't be such a bad thing since those guys are supposedly under the radar and go to the same school as Brown and some good 2015 players.
Yeah I feel like we offered some of those guys with intentions of reeling in Brown. JC went to oscar smith, hopefully he's doing some recruiting for us.
Brown transferred to O.Smith the summer JC enrolled at Tech, so they didn't overlap. But yea, I'm sure JC is hitting up his high school weight room and talking to the players when he's back home. He'll definitely help sway some opinions.
JC has been a mini recruiter all year
So I may be looking into this a bit much, and also contradicting the comment I made earlier, but yesterday CJ retweeted something about DaShawn Hand having a top 2 of Michigan and VT. I know that's not much, but CJ doesn't follow the person who tweeted that so clearly he was going out of his way to find something to tweet about Hand. Also, in regards to the Oscar Smith guys, I doubt Reavis is that tite with them since they aren't from the same region. So hyping them up when he hasn't hyped up any of our other commitments since the spring game wouldn't make that much sense. Lastly, Evan Watkins (247 writer) is THE recruiting guru for the state of Virginia and not only did he predict Hand to come here just last Friday, but he also tweeted about Reavis' prediction.
This is all grasping for straws, but I'm starting to think this commitment might actually be pretty big.
If I had to guess, QB dominoes are starting to fall. Kyle Allen, one of the top QBs, committed to A&M. Brandon Harris, top Dual-threat QB, is down to LSU and Bama after eliminating A&M with Allen's commitment. Cornwell is looking to commit soon. Park is still out there as well. There's a lot of QB commitments that are on the edge of happening.
I think we get Park, Cornwell just doesn't seem to really be into us. He doesn't even mention that we are in his top list. He wants Bama, he wants Bama to offer him. I don't even think the dude visited blacksburg like he said, and then went to Bama, which he has been to before.
I like Park, because he wants to come here. He has mentioned it, he has family that are hokies, and there isn't any controversy around him. He may not be as highly touted, but he is picking up steam.
Based on who CJ chats with (stalking the twitter world), I don't think he has a QB in mind. He definitely has talked to some of the big D guys though, so I would assume it's going that way. He has a good relationship with Brown, Drizobeats, so I can see that.
I just hope his prediction doesn't freak out the new commitment, and he decides to hold off.
In all fairness to Cornwell, we don't know if he could even get out here after the tornado blew through his town on Friday so give him some credit. Park said he wanted to come here, but he also said that once he got an offer from us, he would commit. The offer was given long ago and he's still open. I believe CJ was in town the same day as Brown but also the same day as another QB in Mason Rudolph. Who knows what they were talking about...
Yep and I just saw on the Scout site that Mason Rudolph will commit Wednesday, so who knows. We are trying to predict what teenagers are going to do.lol.
Well, the tornado didn't hit on the 31st, which is when he was going to visit. He did however visit Bama on the 2nd, which was the day after I believe. He also visited Bama back in April.
Park may be still looking around at other offers, but at least he has said he would like to play for the hokies. Hokies and DC barely ever seem to appear in any sentence.
I agree though, who knows what these guys are talking about. Plus, it's not Feb, so even if they commit now, could always change their minds.
A large tornado went near Norman on the 31st http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news/el-reno-tornado-widest-on-rec.... Regardless, the point is that we are still on his radar. Doesn't matter if we get Park or we get Cornwell, we would be getting a solid QB that Loeffler wants which is what matters.
Ah, I was thinking about that recent storm that had the multiple tornadoes.
I agree that a QB that Loeffler wants matters. We'll just have to wait and see. We still have some other boys that are already on the team that could play out better down the road anyway.
I happen to agree with Sorrell in terms of Cornwell; something just tells me we're not going to get him. Only way I see it happening is if those dominoes fall in our favor and he's not able to commit to bama or Tennessee - I'm no expert though, just my gut. I just hope we can land Park at this rate, and I think we will.
if we don't get Cornwell does that mean we no longer have #beachflow?
Makes me think it would be this Mason kid from SC...he sounds legit...though I still am pulling for Bucky. I would prefer it to be someone on the defensive side...announcing..The fact that Mason visited this weekend and he is announcing Wednesday and Reavis' comment. However everyone has LSU and Oklahoma State as his top two schools. I can't wait!!!!
I wish CJ would've clarified what he meant by "REAL soon"?!?!?! Doesn't he know that this is just about all that most of us think about during the day
My sentiment EXACTLY!
So what is this good news and when is it coming?!?!
Hopefully its worth the wait. If not CJ Reavis is breaking my heart
Reavis committed to us and appears to be all in. He's earned a whole lot of latitude in my book.
So it would be appropriate for him to put the Dream Killer shirt on?
So now that we can officially rule out Mason Randolph as potentially being the "news" he was referring to in his tweet, what does everyone think? Back to the Brown/Bradshaw speculation? Nnandi?
What if the good news was Andrew Brown naming us in his Top 5? To sweeten the deal, he excluded UVA. That's pretty damn good news in my opinion.
It is good...sounds like his visit went really well. I don't think we will know much for awhile when it comes to these 4 and 5 star guys...they are enjoying the recruiting process
So I'd say the good news is the Jaylen Bradshaw commit... I was hoping it was Brown, but I'm still hopeful there. I have a feeling he fell in love with Tech during his visit.
I think it all hinges on the OSU visit at this point.
Reavis was just asked on twitter if Bradshaw's commitment was the "good news coming soon" and his reply was that it wasn't and "there is someone else". Who knows
Someone smarter than be can post the tweet. I'm a real newb at that stuff.
That is big
jizzle
He also tweeted this earlier in the week. The kid just gets it; he's a true Hokie. I love getting those kinds of guys to commit to, play for, and promote the Hokies. Can't wait to see him on Worsham in a couple years.
I love this kid already. I can't remember anyone else in the past who has done more (or even as much) to hype us. Anyone?
JC did his fair share of recruiting, including shaving a VT into the side of his head for camps.
Totally forgot about that. I love it when kids do this. If only one of them would post a video of them flushing a LOLUVA letter
Not what u asked for, but still good...

never gets old
Theres a reason all the 757 guys are hosted by JC when they come. He's done a lot and continues to do so, his value to VT extends well off the field not to mention he's a stand up guy with a great family.
Chris Coleman, head editor on TSL, said on The JD Howell Show (ESPN Blacksburg) that Reavis is close with Jacob Park. He was pretty sure that's to whom CJ was referring.
I hope so. I really like Park. I think his advantage is that he's a little more mobile than Cornwell, and until Grimey fills up his stables with big uglies who can make it easy for a QB, that can really help.
Park had his Bama visit yesterday (I think it was a camp or something). So hopefully he decides soon. I think DC is out, and when I read that some coaches having issues with next years eligibility, I instantly figured one was CFB.
Anyway, I like Park too. Hopefully he makes his decision soon. he has to believe he has more of a chance starting at QB at VT by his sophmore or junior year, versus playing at Bama.
His issue isn't eligibility for college. It's his eligibility to play high school football in Oklahoma this year because it would technically be his 5th year after his family had to move due to his mother's health problems.
I know that, but some coaches want him to play this year in high school. Having a year off from football would hurt him no matter what stage. If i were a college coach, I would want someone fresh off a great senior year, not someone who had to sit at home. In addition, he could completely flop this year, and he only has a couple of years for his body of work.
It looks like Cornwell's eligibility will be decided by next Wednesday, so I think we'll see dominos starting to fall shortly thereafter.
ESPN is repotrting that David Cornwell has been granted eliigibility.

OT: +1 for your user name sir. I laughed quite hard remembering my childhood days watching that movie and scene over and over. SUCK BRICK KID!
Looks like Park won't commit that soon in all likelyhood http://notredame.scout.com/a.z?s=109&p=2&c=1297617&ssf=1&RequestedURL=ht...
bummer i was really hoping the news would come this weekend, hard to stay this patient
