Not sure how this one happened, but I'll take it. Nice offer list. Haven't watched his film yet.

Finally we have some good news.
Well, seeing how poorly our DB's have played this year he probably sees it as a chance to play from day 1 for a coach that generally puts out the best secondaries in the country.
Oh, I agree. Don't get me wrong.. I'll take it and I love to hear good news -- especially right now when the buzz is on negative aspects of the program (including a downswing in recruiting). I just hadn't heard his name before, Rivals didn't even have VT listed as an interest of his, and suddenly this happened.
A sight for sore eyes
Welcome to Homie nation!!!
Homie Nation

Whoops.
I blame Swype.
I credit swype. Well done, swype.
Probably one of my favorite scenes from Boyz in the Hood. Automatic leg.
This is why we should keep TG once the new head man comes around. If he is able to land a recruit of this caliber with the situation we are in right now, imagine the type of recruits he could land without having to deal the questions about Beamer's future, his future at VT etc etc.
There are a lot of reasons to keep TG
Trust me, the questions about Beamer, etc will be replaced by other questions. Every team gets negative recruited against and the questions could (and probably will) get a lot tougher than Beamer's age and future.
Like..."why should I come to VT now that Bud Foster and Torrian Gray are no longer there?"
Damn, that's an insane offer list
From what I have read some better caliber teams backed off due to the acl injury he suffered. hopefully he will recover to full str and become a star
I was going to say, "when can he start?"
he messed it up over the summer. he is expected to early enroll
He tore the ACL in June during 7 on 7 and a lot of bigger schools did back off. The fact that Tech stuck around and told him that he's still a very high priority was huge for him.
Another Florida DB? Yes please... and looks like we stole him from "da U" I call that a win.
So basically fsu was a lock to get him until he tore his ACL for the season, then they went on to other players. Good get for us.
From the looks of his highlights, he seems to always want the ball. I value that in a DB.
Welcome to the 'Burg, Khalil.
This is all I needed to bring back hope. (It doesn't take much for me)
*edit* scrolled down and found it

You must've been too busy bashing the staff to read it.
Edit: Since his post was edited I just want to add that it originally said something to the effect of "why was there no TKP update on this, was the staff too busy bashing beamer to put one up". Hopefully that'll add context to my reply.
Well, the active discussions haven't exactly focused on recruiting, so I missed it. And no, I'm not particularly happy with how the staff has been covering things, you caught me.
I'm just curious what's been bothering you about the coverage. I think it's been critical. But I think that's warranted.
