#beatbama tickets

So hokietickets.com recently started selling tickets for the Bama game, but every time I try and select tickets to buy it says "Unable to secure seats in this Price Level." Are they already sold out? I can't imagine they are, but what do I know? Was hoping to score some tickets on that site rather than taking the more pricey subhub route.

I had the same issue. I'm calling the ticket office in the morning and will post what they tell me.

I got mine Thursday and had no problem buying. Surely to goodness they aren't already sold out.

Just checked Hokie Tickets. It says that tickets are sold out, but more might become available closer to game day.

Does anyone see any problem with family members using student tickets? My sister bought tickets for the family when they were selling student ones and considering they were $30 then and are now $60 for upper deck and $90 for lower level, I don't want to get screwed. I know it hasn't been an issue when it comes to bowl games or ACC Championship in the past, but I didn't know if anybody had experience with it.

As far as I know from students posting on Facebook, they have said they contacted the Georgia Dome and have told the students they will not be checking student IDs. BUT you need a student ID to pick up the tickets from the box office in Blacksburg.

Picking them up isn't a problem. My assumption is that the Georgia Dome could care less whether the ticket holder is a student or not, but I didn't know if anybody had any experience with this. Now here's to hoping that they put the "student section" down on the lower level like they've done in the past.

student sections in both lower and upper level - I got my ticket through a student and I hope I'm lucky enough to get lower level

Does anyone know which side of the stadium we'll be on? Press box or the non-press box side?

We got 7 tickets in section 349. I sat close to there at the 2009 Chick-Fil-A bowl and seats weren't bad, I just wish I were one section lower. Nonetheless, I am just thankful to have tickets.
