Happy Halloween TKP!

When we're down about the season, uncertain about the program, etc. it's moments like these that remind me why I love and support this program. Seeing the coaches' kids interacting with the players, having fun, and seeing our Hokies enjoying themselves playing with the kids just makes me happy. I hope it does the same for you. Enjoy the video and let's beat BC.

Happy Halloween!

  1. I love our guys
  2. Coach Wiles hogs all the candy

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

But he didn't know who Elsa was!!!! How can he recruit these days without knowing who she is?!?!? /s

Not sure this should be sarcasm...

I really hope whoever the next coach is whenever it happens keeps things like this important. I also enjoy seeing TKP enjoying this unlike Twitter and Facebook where several comments were "shouldn't the coaches and Players be worried about winning not candy" and my favorite " kids have no place at football practice no wonder they can't coach"

I'll tell you what if the coaches would quit worrying about the dang uniforms and trick or treating we'd win some more ball games I'll tell you what.

People need to realize that family is big at Virginia Tech and that will always play a role in everything. It's one thing that I, as a Hokie myself, take a lot of pride in. You don't get that kind of thing just anywhere.

So what the heck.
Halloween ain't until freaking TOMORROW.
Last night was trick or treating in my town.
TKP is talking Halloween today.
As long as all y'all stay off my lawn...

Apparently West Virginia always does Trick-or-Treating on the last Thursday of the month, or maybe just when Halloween is on a weekend.

The things you find out when your sister-in-law goes to Marshall.

Many places in the Midwest assign trick or treating days. In central Ohio around Columbus kids will get the list for each cities trick or treating days and make the rounds for the week and load up.

You solved my mystery. I was befuddled as to why I was looking at a Snapchat from my wife's sister back in Columbus of kids trick or treating on Thursday night.

@hokie_rd

I'm dressing up as a Miami fan this year, do you like my costume?

Since this is the only Halloween thread up here, here's a link for all of those into creepy stories. Long, but definitely worth the read. But personally I wouldnt read it right before bed

Anyone else going as a TE/WR masquerading as a QB?

Great video, thx for sharing bud. It's videos like these that remind me:
1) why I love Hokie Nation so much
2) Beamer and his crew are human, after all
3) peanut m&m's are still the crowd favorite!

If it ain't orange, it better be maroon...and if it ain't maroon, it better be soon!

Happy Halloween fellow Hokies and remember use your Worcestershire sauce responsibly!

Tomorrow night I'll make the rounds with my 2 year old son. He will be dressed up as Superman I'll be Jor-El. We will be leaving the women at home, though I made arrangements for my 7-month old daughter to be Supergirl (took a lot of work as the front runner was a pink bunny). How life has changed.

Next year we will probably go out as Batman and Robin with Batgirl and ill either be Robin or Mr. Freeze:

Tonight Darth Vader (me) and R2D2 (wife) are leading an Imperial Offiicer (5 year old) and Han Solo frozen in carbonite( 2 year old) on a hunt for space candy. Wifey let the oldest pick out all the costumes, good times...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"
