Me either...it seems that ever since he signed his letter of intent from home, since he was suspended from school, that he has gone underground. No news...google it and you won't find anything.

It seems that both he and Drew Harris deleted their Twitter accounts because I can't find either of them. Not sure what that really means, but I'm thinking it's not a good thing.

Okay, I didn't go back through who all I'm following to find him, just searching for his name and it wasn't showing up. But he's been off the grid since April.

I believe that he graduated, now they are waiting to see if his sat scores/gpa are enough to qualify him. Think we should know something in the next couple weeks.

Could be a blessing in disguise though. If he shows up on campus same times as some big recruits in the 2014 class, Foster could have a world of talent to play with all at once.

Well here's hoping that he qualifies ASAP and benefits from his time at Fork Union.
Fortunately, Bonner and especially Jarrett (our current "Kay Jay") are a great duo at Safety. In fact, I see a lot of young DBs seeing the field this year, with the different packages Bud can throw at the opposing offense.

How much of a risk is it to pursue talent, even great talent, if the academics are questionable even at the very beginning? Won't that be creating a severe imbalance in planning out the team's structure year after year?

A follow up question to this community is - as fans, would you rather see great athletes with classroom struggles on the team, or, good ones with a solid academic record? I feel we should stress on at least decent (not spectacular) HS grades, at the very minimum to eliminate qualification struggles .... What I don't know is how much of this information is available to a recruiting coach. Any thoughts?

I also want to qualify my position on this - I really really hope Fischer and all other VT recruits in this situation would be able to get their grades high and become part of Hokie nation.

I think Fisher's twitter is here: https://twitter.com/Showtime_Nueve
Drew's profile is in fact gone.

Important date to watch: July 9th, when summer II classes begin.
Also my 2nd Anniversary
Congrats! I just celebrated mine not too long ago.
Meanwhile, I spent the last 2 nights sitting alone on my couch watching the entirety of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
that sounds amazing!
2nd anniversary! Congrats, you young puppies. We old Hokies wish you both the best, and many more.
The sooner he is cleared to join the roster, the better I'll feel.
I hope he qualifies but it sounds like he'll end up like Drew Harris
Wouldn't be surprised - I mean he did sign his LOI from his house due to a suspension.
Even if he doesn't qualify directly out of H.S. he can prep and still wind up on our roster.
Yup...Drew Harris deleted his twitter. He was a follower of mine and he is not on twitter anymore.
He didn't qualify. Hopefully he can get his grades and whatever else he needs to get together, together so he can join the 2014 class.

Any news on all the other recruits that had questionable grades out of high school.
