I've watched pretty much every game that Hokietapes has on youtube for the Hokies, but I've still got that football itch and I need a recommendation from the best Hokie community on the web.
What's the best non-hokie football game you've watched that's available on youtube?
I know one of mine is the Texas vs Texas Tech 2008 matchup
This game has it all. Two great quarterbacks, tons of big plays, big swings in momentum, unbelievable home crowd, the shady bell ringer, and the greatest finish I've ever seen (With one of the greatest calls ever. "Deep strike, got the big man! CRABTREE! PULLS FREE!")
But... alas. I've literally watched that game probably 15 times. Need some new blood. So Keyplayers, what do you recommend?

I remember my palms were sweating on that final TD Vince Young ran in. I wanted USC to lose so bad. Such an awesome game.
2007 Fiesta bowl! Boise shocks Oklahoma
Ahhhh, how could I forget. I walked into a hotel room and turned this one, just in time to see the pick to give Oklahoma the lead and stuck around to watch the rest of the game. Glad I did.
Probably the most unbelievable game I've ever seen.

Boise State vs Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl in 2007 was one that will always stick out in my mind.

Texas USC Rose Bowl following the 05 season was great.
The OSU AZ State Rose bowl in the late 90's with Jake Plummer was a great game too.
The 1990 game when Georgia Tech upset UVA when UVA was number 1 was an outstanding game (and to show I am not trolling, UVA beating FSU for their first ever ACC loss was also terrific.)
Orange Bowl when Tom Osborne won his first title vs Miami (Warren Sapp was unreal that game) is up there for me as well. Agree on the Jake the Snake Fiesta Bowl, Vince Young's back to back Rose Bowls.
Some regular season sleepers:
1) Mississippi State upsetting Spurrier's Gators
2) Tennessee vs Arkansas in 1998
My dad's side of the family are Tennessee fans so I grew up routing for them and holy cow that Arkansas game was a miracle. That game single-handedly serves as my reminder that you should never give up on a game until the clock is 0:00.
At a friend's bachelor party last November in DC, we started out with dinner at Charlie Palmer's Steak House and had the private dining room for our rowdy group (good thing for the patrons!). Well, Bama - TAMU was on, and we had dinner and a show!
My vote would probably be Boise/OK, but last year's Chik Fil A bowl (LSU/Clemson) was awesome. When Stanford beat USC back in the day, that was a good one too. Could always go AppSt/Michigan.
I'd have to go with the 2006 Ohio State Vs. Michigan game. Not a good watch for fans of defense but it was a great back-and-forth game.
This was going to be my suggestion. It was a great game between 2 great teams.
Michigan State Georgia in the Outback Bowl was one of a hell back and forth with blocked kicks at the end.

2003 Miami - Ohio St. is still my favorite television game experience.
It had a little of everything.
Lots of story lines/star power
Great Defenses
Clutch plays
Bad calls
2 overtimes
It starts a little slow, but the excitement really gets going in the 2nd half.

The double-overtime National Championship was initially talked about as one of the greatest bowl games in the history of college football. Ohio State came to the desert as big underdogs, but just as they did all season, the Buckeyes played tough and went toe-to-toe with the Canes until the final whistle. The game had featured good defense, very physical battles among the offensive and defensive linemen, and strong performances by the teams' star players. It was the first national championship game to go into overtime, and the back-and-forth battle continued all the way to the 1-yard line on the final play. OSU had leaned on their defense all season, and the unit came through when they were needed most. The goal-line stand in the 2nd overtime is considered a defining moment of the Ohio St. season and cemented that group as one of the best in Buckeye history. Jim Tressel won his 1st Division 1-FBS national championship as a head coach, and it was the storied program's first national title since Woody Hayes's 1968 squad. They were also the first college football team to ever win 14 games in an undefeated season. Krenzel and Doss were named Co-MVP's of the game. It was particularly emotional for Doss, because he had come back to Ohio State for his senior year when he would most likely have been taken in the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft. But the dedicated senior would eventually win the coveted crystal trophy, and would also go on to win a Super Bowl trophy with the Indianapolis Colts. Miami's juggernaut program enjoyed three more years of successful football, but the program went downhill for the rest of the decade. Ohio State has had mostly 10+ win seasons, and has dominated the Big Ten. The two teams would not meet until almost a decade later; once in 2010 and once in 2011, with Ohio State winning the first meeting 36-24 and Miami winning the next 24-6.
The amount of future NFL talent that played in the game is considered highly exceptional. Of the 43 players who started in the game (OSU's Chris Gamble started on both offense and defense), 37 of them were eventually NFL draft picks (including 18 first-rounders). Of the 100 players who played in the game, 58 went on to play in the NFL.
Stanford-USC in 2007. Biggest upset ever. Also, Nevada-BSU in 2010 was quite fantastic as well.
Hail Flutie, 1984 BC vs Miami game. Watched it live, still remember thinking in the 3rd quarter that the team with the ball last would win. An oldie, but one of the best ever, and you get to see Miami lose at home. Sweeeeet!
See, I would agree, but every time I see that ad it reminds me of a cold rainy Thursday night in Blacksburg that will have nothing more said of it here.
I'm gonna go major old school on you all....1974 Notre Dame v USC....ND was up 24-0, wiping the floor with the Trojans...Anthony Davis scored with less than a minute left in the first half, halftime score 24-7. AD took the second half kickoff back 102 yd, sparking the USC comeback...final score USC 55, ND 24. The win locked the Heisman up for AD. A classic game.
Texas A&M upsetting Alabama on their home turf.
I've watched that game 3 times this offseason. It makes me happy.
The best part was Saban having the look on his face like he was going to throw up.
TCU Baylor 2010 I believe it was....whatever RG3s senior season was, the best individual performance I've ever seen and an incredible game all around really back and forth! I knew RG3 was something special when I watched that game

Fresno St vs USCw in 2005 heartbreak city for Fresno St and Reggie Bush's was in video game mode.
I'm gonna have to go with the Ravens-Broncos playoff game this past year..... Not that I'm biased or anything towards the ravens.......
I'm proud to say that I was a member of the App. State Team that beat Michigan in 2007. One of the biggest roller-coasters of emotion I've ever been a part of. Michigan took 4 years to recover from the aftermath. Unfortunately, they won the Sugar Bowl to prove it. Karma sucks.

Yea I remember keeping up with that game as they showed the scores in LANE. I thought the scoreboard operators had the score wrong.

Miami-UF 2003. Florida blows a 33-10 lead in a quarter and a half.
KU-Missouri 2008. I'm a little biased since the Jayhawks have always been my other team. But getting revenge on Missouri after they ended that cinderella 2007 season was sweet.
Even without the Crabtree catch and the field-storming, the bell ringer makes it the best game.

2011 Baylor vs. Oklahoma in the regular season stands out for me, and nobody's mentioned it yet. That was the night we all learned RG3 is unreal.
RG3 made some ridiculous throws that game.
I remember watching this game and thinking "This Griffin kid is ridiculous". He was so good at placing the ball in the perfect spot on deep throws.
I've got two - I'm a Skins fan, but the Giants win over the undefeated Pats (in 07?) has to be up there. Also, how about the Wisconsin-Mich St game 2 years back? Where Kirk Cousins wins it on a hail mary at the very end. Incredible.
I'll jump into this late, and it may not be the best game I've ever seen, but its worth noting that the Flutie Miracle game was an Instant Classic even if that last play doesn't take place. It was a great, great game. He was like 20 of 22 in that game. The next time you see it on, watch the whole thing.

Miracle at the New Meadowlands. Eagles overcame a 21 point deficit in less than 8 minutes led by Michael Vick with the walkoff punt return by Desean Jackson for the win.

If we're talking NFL, then the 2009 Super Bowl is definitely my choice for the best game I've ever seen.

ECU and Marshall played a pretty awesome bowl game in the early 2000s that me and my friends still talk about.
Best game I've seen live was NC State vs FSU when Torry Holt went off and Weinke threw five picks. That place was bumping that day.

Ugh I was at that game as a 15 year old growing up in KY. That's the quietest I've seen a stadium become suddenly after raucous madness, besides 2007 Boston College. My friend and I had climbed down out of our endzone seats and were about to rush the goalposts when that play happened.
What's worse is at the postgame tailgate I had to listen to my LSU uncle and his drinking buddies taunt all of us.

Being an LU Alum, I enjoyed our near upset of Wake last year. New Coach's first game, nearly wins a game against a BCS conference school (20-17).

1990 - Georgia Tech visiting UVA when the "Boo"Hoos were ranked #1. 41-38 final. Incredible game with 50,000 people in attendance. UVA scores a touchdown with a minute and a half left and Scott Stadium goes nuts! Illegal procedure and the Cavs settle for a field goal. GT takes the kickoff and drives down and Scott Sisson nails a 41 yarder to the dismay of a full stadium in Charlottesville!
Baylor vs Washington in the 2011 Valero Alamo Bowl with almost 1400 yards of offense.
The 2011 Kraft Fight Hunger bowl (UCLA vs Illinois) was easily the most putrid display of football I have ever seen. Even worse than our Russell Athletic Bowl. Find and watch it if you like, but it is more a mixture of comedy and horror than it is a good football game.
Both teams had their coaches fired before that game. Just to add to the terribleness of the whole thing.
Judging by how the teams played, I think the ADs got those calls right.

Based on the title of this thread I thought it was about what game I had seen in person. The most recent was ODC-New Hampshire last year when Taylor Heinicke set the all time NCAA QB passing record for a single game. I can't find the whole game but there are highlights. If you like offense it was great. Except for a few critical stops defense wasn't so good.

Growing up a UGA fan since my parents went there, the 2001( I think) Georgia at Tennessee was one of the best games ever.

2010 - Notre Dame vs. Michigan State ("Little Giants")
2011 - Notre Dame vs. Michigan
I still hate that Michigan team (but I hate ND more). The last 2 minutes were insane.
