I hope that UVA has a good season, only to be crushed by VT in the Commonwealth game. Loved it the year that UVA fans thought they had Tech's number, only to get mollywhopped.

Nothing better then seeing overconfident Hoos being put in their proper place.

My favorite games against LOLUVA (or, as my Washington Redskins had last year against the blue/gray team) are the ones that have season-wide implications for both. For example:

- VT and LOLUVA play for the division title
- VT plays for the division title and LOLUVA is playing for bowl eligibility
- VT plays for the division title and UVA is playing for their first win of the season
- VT plays for pride and UVA plays to avoid embarrassment (38-0, bro)
- VT playing for bowl eligibility and LOLUVA is playing in the sandbox (like last year)
- VT plays for pride and knocks LOLUVA down to Division II (I guess we'd need a relegation structure for this)
- VT plays football and LOLUVA drinks Zima (every year)
- VT exists and LOLUVA
- Just paint their damn field again. Speaking of which, do we have anyone to post as a sentry outside the stadium on LOLUVA week?
- Kinda like the winner of the Redskins/other game last year sent the Redskins to the playoff and the other team home for the offseason. This is one of the greatest victories I can remember, not only for what it meant to us but what it meant to them. AND THAT WE DID IT TO THEM.
