It was 99,700 before I went down my twitter timeline retweeting every #GameDay4Frank post, 100,488 after. I'm not saying I put us over. I'm just saying. Lol.

Can't they just go to a school where the quarterback did not just serve a 1 game suspension for a OVI arrest? Not to mention all of the tattoos that our players ACTUALLY PAID FOR!!!

What about Baylor / OkSU? That's going to be an undefeated matchup if Baylor can hold off Oklahoma. OkSU plays Iowa State which shouldn't be a problem for them.

They're going to Baylor tomorrow, the odds of them doing two Baylor games in a row are pretty low. I know they did back to back VT games in 2007 but of course that was under much different circumstances.

I can't believe this is even an issue honestly. It will likely be one of the highest attended Gameday broadcasts ever and Frank Beamer only retires once. I can't understand why they would go another direction. Although it won't surprise me if they do because. Well, you know. ESPN gonna ESPN.

Like I said. ESPN gonna ESPN. Terrible and hypocritical network with hamfisted shows and broadcasts for bored people with nothing to do except watch the 10th rerun of Sportscenter.

CR: Solid choice. I know you guys are on a mission to get College GameDay out to Blacksburg for Beamer's final home game, against North Carolina on Nov. 21. What's your personal pitch to ESPN for why the show needs to come out?
MB: Well, I don't think College GameDay would be what it is today without coach Beamer and Virginia Tech. I think it was Chris Fowler, not too long ago, who said College GameDay owed Frank Beamer a debt. I think it's time to pay that debt.
This response from Michael Brewer says a lot about Frank and what he built here.
When I came to visit Virginia Tech, I ended up committing. I remember sitting down in coach Beamer's office, my dad and I and coach [Scot] Loeffler, the offensive coordinator. Coach Beamer's sitting behind his desk, we were talking and at the end of our meeting I told him, "Coach, this is where I want to be. I wanna commit to y'all and come play here for two years." He shot right out of his chair, came over and gave me a big hug. I'd known the guy for an hour. He told me, "We're gonna take great care of you, we're happy you're here, couldn't be more excited."
I think that's when I knew I made the right decision, because of the family atmosphere he brings. He teaches everybody how to do things on and off the field. That's why he's been so successful. It was pretty cool.
This program that Frank built has a foundation of rock based on integrity, honesty, family, and performance. All of the aspects of this program that he has built must be maintained for the future.

I don't have twitter, so I'm not sure if yall have tried this angle yet, but we should try and get the college GameDay sponsors involved. Home Depot, coke zero, cheezits, etc

wow that's amazing
I'm going to need new thumbs by the time College Game Day makes their decision. No pain no gain...
Oh, did we do that?
The power of Hokie Nation is strong.

Yep, me too!
The Force is with us.
May the Force be with you
and also with you
I have you covered.
A friend's sibling works for GameDay. She told me that there is a good chance that GameDay comes to VT if OSU loses to Illinois this weekend.
#sauces
Well, I certainly don't like the odds of that happening.
Right. Still a chance if OSU wins the game but not nearly as good.

I would imagine if Michigan State loses to Maryland (also unlikely) then that would be in our favor too, but not nearly as much as an OSU loss.
Well looks like we'll have to get Buckeye nation to start tweeting #GameDay4Frank...
We're up against a coach that used to work for ESPN. Can we distract him to lose if we put Tebow on the sidelines?
It's 3rd and short. OSU with the ball. We gotta get out our keys and starting screaming #GameDay4Frank at Gameday twitter even more

Yeah, but OSU plays Michigan the week after they play MSU on Nov21, so maybe that will apply to them as well.

At Oklahoma St. though!
I guess you don't remember 2011:

we have just over 24 hours to tweet the eff out of #GameDay4Frank!
I dunno man, not sure that #GameDay4Rank will work quite as well...
#GameDay4Frank #YouCanDoThat
I just got some weird looks from my boss across the hall because I busted out laughing at this. You gotta stop. You're gonna get me fired.
I foresee unlimited mileage in that Beamer head.
