SO it looks like VT game against UNC will get the ESPN main channel.

Thank god, I'll be able to watch in Seattle.

In a bar....at 9am.

Sounds like an exciting little Saturday

Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

If you have. Bloody Mary at 9am you are not drinking, just having a breakfast beverage

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
β€œI served in the United States Navy"

You know what? I'll take it.

"The Big Ten is always using excuses to cancel games with us. First Wisconsin. Then Wisconsin. After that, Wisconsin. The subsequent cancellation with Wisconsin comes to mind too. Now Penn State. What's next? Wisconsin?" -HorseOnATreadmill

Good stuff! I'll be able to watch the game if I can connect to WatchESPN in the Philippines.

All of the folks watching Gameday, waiting for their game later in the day will just leave the channel on after headgear, and see our game.

Wait, I thought we were boycotting ESPN.

That didn't last long

"When I was growing up, Virginia Tech was a school that was kicking ass and taking names, and it's time we get back to that" - James Franklin

Lol! Can't you just let the good folks rant and vent?

Well this boycott of ESPN is going to be real tough now...

Exit Light, Enter Night....Go Hokies

Don't need espn from section 9...

Would it be better for us to be on ABC or ESPN? Does this count as a win for us? I wonder what the noon ABC game is.

ESPN. Gameday will for sure have a segment on Beamer and the game is right after the show.

And I imagine they'll do some live look ins to the warm ups, as well as more of the pregame activities.

-What we do is, if we need that extra push, you know what we do? -Put it up to fully dipped? -Fully dipped. Exactly. It's dork magic.

Michigan at Penn State is on ABC.

From the numbers that TSL posted:

Total viewers for the season, noon games, for each ESPN/ABC network...
ABC: 26.388 million
ESPN: 22.709 million
ESPN2: 7.791 million
ESPNU: 3.662 million

So, ABC or ESPN looks to be relatively equal, with the main difference coming in that ABC is easier to get.

And, as I said earlier, folks are probably likely to leave the TV on ESPN following Gameday if they're waiting for a 3:30 game.

Yay we get the Participation Trophy /s we are still not cool ESPN...

But the TKP/#gameday4Frank crowd should still take a bit of pride in the effort.
Clearly ESPN took note and optioned the VT game.
FWIW.

I just want a close game. I don't think I could take a blowout loss to UNC on national tv at this moment in time. I know the kids are going to play hard and I know I am going to be in full Hokie Mode for that day. #BeatUNC

Go Hokies!

Why can't we blow them out?

Lol
