Memphis -1.5 at Temple

• Coming off a loss to USF, usually doesn't get you a spot on the 6P, let alone being a traditional extreme bottom feeder, that's a credit to Matt Rhule, who I believe is angling to be the next PSU coach. He needs a resume building win
• The Justin Fuente's bank account is going to grow in the next couple of weeks, but after back2back losses, albeit to two really good teams, it'd be wise to get a win this week. Don't need a rep going into your next job, wherever that might be

Pick: Memphis winning by a fg. Lots on the line for these two coaches, and to a lesser extent programs. Both are up and coming stars, this is going to be a tight contest.

Michigan State at Ohio State -13.5

• Hey Gameday ... I hope it rains in Columbus and it's a miserable time, Love BCO
• MSU controls their own destiny. They aren't great, but newsflash teams 3 and 4 in the playoffs this year aren't going to be

Pick: Sparty getting the points. Sparty isn't great, but there is no way Dantonio is submitting to Xerxes Meyer, he'll go down fighting and OSU hasn't lit the world on fire yet.

Northwestern at Wisconsin -10.5

• Wiscy has crept up to be 8-2. Checks the two losses to Bama and Iowa, respectable. Checks the wins, no one, absolutely NO ONE. I have no clue how good they are, even if they win this week, I won't know
• Look, I have no excuse to put another Northwestern game on the 6P, other than I didn't want you guys to have to pick for or against VT this week

Pick: Northwestern getting the points in a backdoor cover fashion.

USC at Oregon -4.5
3:30 pm ESPN / espn3

• Vernon Adams healthy, with reps and what do you know, the Oregon offense is clicking. However, Adams isn't fixing that terrible, no good defense. This will be the new Oregon norm for the next few years?
• USC controls their own Pac 12 CG destiny. If Interim Coach Clay Helton gets this team to win the Pac 12 South, I'd wager he gets the gig, full time. God, what a weird season of college football and I love it

Pick: Oregon laying the points and winning by 10, their O is really coming on.

Baylor at Oklahoma State PK
7:30 pm FOX

• "Bro, you're poking thru." "Bro, so are you." "Let's go Pokes"
• Death, Taxes and Baylor not getting over the hump ... however win out and a playoff spot is still possible, maybe

Pick: OSU winning, Baylor hasn't had their annual road game trip up yet.

TCU at Oklahoma -7.5*
8:00 pm ABC

• When you walk on at Texas Tech, then end up at OU on a full ride staring out a 9-1 with 31 passing TD's, 6 rushing TD's and only 4 int's you can shake a leg
• Gary Patterson, you tempted the football gods by forsaking defense for offense and now that the offense is floundering, you have nothing to fall back too .... the B12 has assimilated you

Pick: OU is rolling and will continue to do so, if Boykin does not play or is really hampered, TCU is gonna get blode out.
* because Boykin and Doctson were injured when this came out, I had no line. A complete guess, so lets add a half point hook, in case they do play

Beer of the Week:
Tree House Eureka! with Citra

Another beer muled for me from New England. This is a Blonde Ale brewed entirely with Citra hops, it's very clean beer with lots and lots of citrus notes and an ABV at 4.1%. I would absolutely smash this in the summer time.
