Frank's Number and signature on the field

Didn't see this mentioned anywhere else. Pictures say it all.

Can this be permanent?

Now finish up them taters; I'm gonna go fondle my sweaters.

I agree.

Are there any college football fields that have permanent signatures on them? I know some basketball courts do (OK State with Eddie Sutton, Tennessee with Pat Summitt, Maryland with Gary Williams).

I would at least love to see the 25 be permanent.

Good thing the "25" is at the 25yard line.

Just saw this on College Football Live, had some nice words to say at end of show (Dez, Pollack, Sam)

-What we do is, if we need that extra push, you know what we do? -Put it up to fully dipped? -Fully dipped. Exactly. It's dork magic.

I saw too. I thought it was nice they squeezed them in in the last 30 seconds of the show

"We were at the pinnacle, and we did it for years," Foster says. He pauses, nods, takes a deep breath. "And I did it with the best guy in the business."

Love it! I say keep it too. And how about the foreshadowing to renaming the field...

The Worsham family was the only big donor at a time when there were no other big donors. We should keep it Worsham Field. We've got Beamer Way. I would favor either the "Beamer Fieldhouse" aka the Beamer Barn or Lane-Beamer Stadium.

Lamer stadium?....never mind

Beautiful. We should add them on both 25 yrd lines in Lane Stadium North.

The grass looks great. Maybe it's painted? A lot of golf courses with bermuda fairways do that, actually helps with the agronomy.

It is overseeded with ryegrass every September to maintain the look without disrupting the durability.

Where did Frank find a white pen that big?

Net Row Net Row Tweet Tweet Ho!

I think they could just paint some white offset 25 yd markers as the normal layout and it would be a nice subtle reminder.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

I actually would prefer painting the 25 yard line itself.... Maroon/orange. (For future years, if we wanted something more subtle)

The thing with white offset yard markers is they would only fit on one 25 yard line per sideline. (The ACC logo is on the other two 25 yard lines) So if anything is there it needs to have color like the current tribute, imo, because the ACC logo is in maroon & orange also.
