I've noticed that a bit from our running backs. They often run themselves out of bounds, instead of cutting back to then numbers.
I have also noticed that, we miss out on a few extra yards every time we run out of bounds rather than attempting a cutback or at least attempting to run through a defender.

However, in all of the college football I've watched, I have grown very used to that being called a no catch. Either way, it is over. We played a good team and fought hard. If someone had told me yesterday I could lock in us only losing by 3 to their high powered O, I would've surely considered it. Moving on to taking out this heart break on UVA.

Defense played spectacular in keeping a highly explosive offense back and as much as I want to blame them for giving up that TD in OT I just can't. Once again the offense was consistently inconsistent and let down themselves, the team, and (above all) Frank Beamer. The two TD's in the 4th was nice but the missed opportunities earlier in the game bit us in the ass.
Defense did all they could as usual. Feel sorry for Frank. Good riddance Loeffler. Maybe we'll be like Auburn, fire Loeffler and the next year have dominant offense. Sorry I'm rambling I'm really fucking mad.

I played in a well organized rec basketball league. the refs were so bad one year, we got rid of them all the next year. we had one player from each team ref instead for free. saved us a bunch of money and everyone was way more happy.

Although the refs gave us the fatal shot in the head, Loeffler's playcalling made us bleed a long time back. The day he calls his last play as a Hokie will be a great one.
