Clark is a 6'4" 180 SG out of Hargrave, rated as a 3-star recruit by Rivals.com and 247 Sports.
UPDATE: Berman elaborates:
He did not meet Virginia Tech admission standards, according to a source, for academic reasons regarding his GPA and SAT.
Clark will not be enrolling at Tech in a future year, either, said the source.

Weaver set this program back 10 years with the way he handled the firing of Greenberg. And JJ is going to be fired after this season even though he had no chance to ever really succeed.
He'll get 3 years. Last year to transition, this year to recruit, and next year to coach those recruits and if there are no real results, he's gone. Not fair at all, but that's the situation he was given. He would be better off leaving and taking a job elsewhere if he can.
No, firing him after this season would make too much sense. This will be a sub-10 win season. We gotta wait until we can get down to about 5 wins a season.
