I am pumped! All aboard?
Time to fuel up the hype train!!
I agree with Bud. This guy talks like Beamer. He reiterates how much his time at Memphis has meant time and again, how hard it was to leave, and how fortunate he is for the opportunity at VT. From early appearances, seems we have another classy coach waiting in the wings.
Bud don't cry...if you cry we cry.
We got our men. Couldn't be more excited about these two going to work. See y'all in Charlotte next year, let's go!
HOKIES!!!
You may be able to see us in Charlotte *this* year.
Belk. Bowl.
Go, man, go!!
I think it makes it THAT much better that whit gave Fuente the option to keep bud rather than mandating it.
Im taking this as a sign that theyre going to get along great and conquer the world together.
WHERE ARE MY SUNGLASSES THE FUTURE IS TOO DAM BRIGHT!!!!
here's some oakleys
I haven't had a chance to read through all the comments yet..but has Justin and the two assistants been asked the most important question yet...what's a Hokie?
Cake or Pie? I'm betting he's a pie guy!
Oh he has to be. I'm guessing something like a brown sugar pie.
Boy howdy, he could sell ice to an Eskimo. I usually hate the offseason but I'm really going to hate this one. I can't wait to see what this man does going forward.
How many days until Spring Game!?!?
Too many.
142 and counting if the game is on 23 April

In the SiriusXM College Sports Nation audio file, any one else notice that the statement about retaining Shane Beamer was not addressed?
Very much so.
Yes I did. A telling omission. For me that's a good thing.
Shane to USCe (HC) or UGA (assistant) still out there...
I would be incredibly surprised if USCe picked him up as HC. Not to knock on Shane specifically, but just in general, how often do you see a program in the top half of a P5 conference hire a position coach from outside the program? (that last caveat because people always bring up Dabo, who had a 6 game tryout as interim head coach)
valid point. But how awesome would it be if Shane took over at USCe and won the SEC?
Won the SEC...then I would be incredibly surprised. Depends on how long he's got.
Well at one point he was inside the program. Not to mention USCe is getting turned down by a lot of coaches.
