OT: Ben Trent OL 6-6 300lbs

So we are always in the need for big O-line players. Ben Trent is a senior at Jefferson Forest, coached by Jake Grove and Bob Christmas and will be playing Salem in the 4A Virginia State playoffs Saturday night.

Would love to see if this guy has potential to be at VT..

Just FYI: I already email John Ballein about him. Not sure what his roll is anymore with regards to recruiting but he was extremely helpful with I emailed him last year about Steven Peoples.

the last one reads a little questionable and what Jesuit's do with toast

The Dude Abides

JESUITS HATE TOAST. IT IS LIKE GARLIC TO VAMPIRES. EVERY TIME I HAVE EATEN A PIECE OF TOAST, VT HAS SCORED ON THE NEXT DRIVE VERSUS BOSTON COLLEGE AND THEIR JESUIT BLACK MAGIC.

Cheese sucks. Eat more pier.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

Not sure what kind of fishing you do, but pier has never been too edible to me.

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

I don't know why but I had to leg this...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
β€œI served in the United States Navy"

Next year, you're eating a whole loaf during the BC game.

We put the K in Kwality

I don't know that he's fast enough to be playing at the FBS level. I think he's more of a DII guy.

Go Hokies

I agree, just watching some of the film it appears that he is slow.

Ballein will remain in the department in an administrative position overseeing the same olympic sports he has now as well as strength and conditioning. But, Guerry would be the guy to go for that probably.

Would be cool to see more JF players at VT. Is the knock on Navy Jones he's too small?

Eh, he's not particularly quick off the ball and seems to take advantage of players about half his size. I'd worry about him against any type of speed. My first thought was if he's worth recruiting, wouldn't Jake Grove have already passed the info along to VT?
