well... I'm sure that .88 rating would have quickly jumped to .91 or whatever it would take to be a middle of the road 4* should he have gone to such other offers as Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan St, UNC, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, or Wisconsin...

Don't you get tired of the same old jokes in every thread?
EDIT: sigh, yeah that was the response I expected. But seriously, originality is pretty uncommon around these parts nowadays, let's at least try to be clever when we rehash to same joke for the 100th time in the same day.

Jimmie Taylor is only a 3*, but he's got offers from Duke, Florida, Michigan, NCSU, UNC, UT, UVA
Ladler's offers are framed by his injury, but Bama, Auburn, UF, FSU, UGA, LSU, Miami, MSU, Ole Miss, USC, Texas, UT, aTm.....they don't offer kids who can't play.
Denmark doesn't have a lot of offers, but Muschamp can recruit. That's a solid 3* kid.
Deablo is another kid ranked 3* but with 4* offers like Clemson, UF, Lville, NCSU, UNC, ND, OSU, PSU, USC, UT, WVU.....
Same with Kumah, offers from UMD, Miami, NCSU, NW, Pitt, UT.
Jackson had offers from AFA, Minney, NW, Oregon St, Utah, WVU....
It's not that far off to say that Ladler has 5* offers and Taylor and Deablo have 4* offers. Kumah isn't far away from 4* either.

So of our six recruits projected to play at skill positions, five are enrolling early. With Frank coaching through the bowl game on Boxing Day, that means Evans, Jackson, Deablo, Denmark and Kumah will essentially be in the program from the very beginning of the Justin Fuente era.

And if everything goes to plan, Fuente's offense will put points on the board, putting our opponents in a hole, making them desperate, giving our DBs more opportunities to do DBU things.

Franks uncertainty and what that meant for our defensive coaching staff was a big reason a lot of kids were turning away the last few years. Not having that looming over the program anymore is going to benefit us in so many ways we weren't expecting.

His film is insane. He plays like Deangelo Hall did in HS. Excellent field awareness, cover skills, honed RB skills like switching arms to guard against fumbles...he is a general out there.
He doesn't look quite as big as Hall seemed in HS - maybe he is, though - but man, he seems to RELISH coming up in run support like Hall did, which is often rare in DBs.
This guy looks like a "can't miss" from that film. wow, wow, wow.

Hall is at it once more now that the Redskins moved him to safety. Almost to his own detriment, the way he is throwing his body around playing that role.

Welcome to good guys!
mmmm that offer list is sooo sexy
The Crystal Ball seems juuuust a bit off though
With that offer list how is he only a 3 star?
Cause he didn't commit to Alabama Propaganda!
Because he signed with us, duh.

No, and neither does Drew Harris. You will see when he gets here.
I'm sure rehabbing a torn ACL didn't help the cause: http://www.thekeyplay.com/virginia-tech-football-recruiting/2015/10/1050....
Speaking of, did Ekanem or Shai's recruiting rank drop with their senior season (high school) knee injuries?
Idk about ekanem, but Shai might have ended up a 5* if he hadn't torn his acl, or close to it. Dude had like 700 yards in less than 3 games.
Unsure, but I know Notre Dame and other schools completely backed off (Ekanem).
This is just an oversensitive reaction to the "Notre Lame" label.
This is a pretty underrated group.

That is an impressive list, beating out some big time SEC players.
Keep it up Bud and Company.
I just noticed the lead recruiter from Florida State.
No wonder why they do so well in recruiting...
No wonder they've been recruiting so well...

Wait a minute. Wasn't this post a video of something else just like ten minutes ago???
Nothing to see here.
joke's on you!!!!!!!!!
I like how we grabbed the top offensive coach this year, but we're still recruiting CB's like this kid.
I don't think I've been this excited about the future of the Hokies since before Tyrod graduated.

this guy has Hall / Flowers / Hosely / Fuller type potential
Does he have a brother?
And if so, how many?
