I know we have discussed the VT football Twitter account but it looks like it has received some attention and it's rated as a good account.

Pretty obvious that Pete Moris knows what he is doing. His constant energy he puts into the account has to be a plus for recruiting.
Top 10?? Top 5!!
Top 5?? Top 3!!
Didn't want to give it all away.
*cough* Shockwave *cough*
It may very well be an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely LOVE the account. I love how interactive it is with fans, and I love all of the pictures and behind the scenes stuff we get to see. You don't see that with every school. The extra push that was given for #GameDay4Frank was unreal. Can we keep Pete forever?
Yes, a top three ranking from Athlon Sports really makes up for the constant typos and mistakes. Most people, like myself, don't have a problem with the direction. It's the sloppiness that has come along with it.
Constant mistakes and typos? Going to say your going out on a limb there.
People who complain about typos on Twitter don't know how to Twitter.
Not really sure where the basis of this comment is but if you want to act like you're a social media guru then go for it.
Coming from someone married to a Vice President at a large digital firm, there might not be a more overrated position than "social media guru".
The irony.
Your vs you're on Twitter is a waste of a limited number of characters you have to use.
I'm sorry that I'd rather see the only platform that many people see associated with our University use correct grammar.
Sorry, but your argument is a losing battle. Twitter has its own culture and lexicon, part of which is playing fast and loose with grammar and spelling to get everything into the 140 character limit. Errant spellings are highly forgivable so long as there is steady content. In general, you want your Facebook presence to be well structured and highly polished, and your Twitter presence to be constantly generating content.
No I agree that to save characters is fine (i.e. You vs. u). But throwing your instead you're is just childish and looks like we don't know simple English. You can have steady content and be professional. Lots of accounts do it.
Agree to disagree. I'm a your vs you're nazi, but on Twitter I appreciate the value of saving two characters.
I think the simple answer is to just use "ur" for all cases. That indicates that the intent is to conserve letters and leaves little doubt about the grammatical prowess of the poster

Someone hit the letter next to another letter!! Fire him NOW!!
I assumed the second part of the tweet was about Bronco Mendenhall.
So the guy who many want replaced is ranked 3rd....yep seems about right for the interwebs.
Nah it's a very vocal minority of elder people who don't understand twitter. The vast majority like the twitter account.
Someone should rank college football websites.
Then we would be #1.
Thank you TKP!
why do people not like him? missing that part of the story. someone mind filling me in?
