My wife is working on the house calendar this weekend and working on her day off requests. However thanks to the laziness of the ACC we STILL don't have a football schedule. So looking to you fine folks at TKP to see if we can do a best guess calendar for game dates.

My best guess: UVA game will be either the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving, Miami will be a Thursday night game in October...the other two games will be early October & early November.
I'm pretty sure most home games are played at Lane Stadium, and I believe they will either be on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
Nah but seriously, I think I read BC will have to be on the 17th of September due to out of conference ACC scheduling. Wouldn't be surprised to see GT or Miami be the Thursday night game.
EDIT: For the sake of being visible, I made a spreadsheet. The middle block of games are the potential opponents. Keep in mind there could be A) a thursday nighter and B) a bye week, that would most likely precede the Thursday nighter.
If anyone knows which of the possibilities can be eliminated let me know. I'm basing this off what I read about BC, and assuming UVA is Thanksgiving weekend as usual.
Great spreadsheet.
I guessed because I'm off today and bored and I want to record this in case it's correct. I didn't change the date for the thursday night game because I'm off work and being lazy.
OK so I'm a massive dork (and I'm actively avoiding studying for the MCAT) and looked at all of the schedules since 2008...from 2008-2015, we never played three away games in a row. I don't think the ACC would do that to us because it's a little mean to our players to travel three weekends in a row (and to deprive the Blacksburg community of football for one month if you included the bye week). Given this, he's my best guess for the schedule:
9/3: Liberty
9/10: Tennessee (at Bristol)
9/17: Boston College
9/24: ECU
10/1: @ Duke
10/8: @ Syracuse
10/15: Georgia Tech
10/22: BYE
10/27: @ UNC (Thursday Night)
11/3: Miami (Thursday Night)
11/12: @ Pittsburgh
11/19: @ Notre Dame
11/26: Virginia
Unless something has changed recently, UNC won't host a Thursday night game. Admittedly, I may have missed the change. FSU is the same.
UNC won't host Thursday night games? That's strange. I wonder why. I know they aren't concerned about players missing classes...
Looking at the schedules, you're right, Boston College (fuck Matt Ryan) has to be on September 17th (good job Warthog).
Hokie20 on Twitter picked that up. Can't take credit.
