Daniel Griffith 6'1" 228lbs. Played inside LB, Fullback, and QB during his time at Western Branch, and Nansemond Suffolk Academy in Chesapeake, VA. Led the NSA Crusaders team to a state title this year playing for long time Western Branch coach Lew Johnson. Could he be the next Sam Rogers?

If he is a LB, hopefully he is more of a Cody Grimm or Jack Tyler.

I can tell that elements of his game are quite similar to those guys just looking at his picture.
Jake Houseright, too.
Did you mean Jonas Houseright? Thought Jake was a scholarship guy from day one.
looks like he's got a nose for the ball as a LB. Hits the hole real hard and sheds blocks, the anti-Motuapuaka....
Idk, could be the next Danny Coale. Or Cole Beasley. Or Matthew Dellavedova. Or
i disagree, I felt like he was more Kyle Korver.
Not everyday you see a Kyle Korver reference. Leg for you good sir
Whichever, whomever, whatever...there will never be another Sam Rogers.
I live in the Western Branch area and have seen him play. He's a "baller". I think he's got a shot at a good Hokie career.
He can be the next Daniel Griffith. We need one of those.
Sam Rogers is the next Sam Rogers and will be the next Sam Rogers after that.
Rogers' successor needs to be dependable, versatile, and be a play-maker when the opportunity presents itself. I would look at Peoples as the most likely candidate right now but Griffith could also fit that mold.
Possibly a stupid question of mine but has he already "commited" to coming to the good guys as a recruited walk on?
That's what the article says.
Ah My bad i was in school and the article wouldnt load on my phone, knew it was probably a dumb question
I like him. Looks explosive through the line
