Daniel Griffith 6'1" 228lbs. Played inside LB, Fullback, and QB during his time at Western Branch, and Nansemond Suffolk Academy in Chesapeake, VA. Led the NSA Crusaders team to a state title this year playing for long time Western Branch coach Lew Johnson. Could he be the next Sam Rogers?

I can tell that elements of his game are quite similar to those guys just looking at his picture.

I live in the Western Branch area and have seen him play. He's a "baller". I think he's got a shot at a good Hokie career.

Rogers' successor needs to be dependable, versatile, and be a play-maker when the opportunity presents itself. I would look at Peoples as the most likely candidate right now but Griffith could also fit that mold.
