Sure do miss watching this dude on the football field, but thought everyone would appreciate learning the technique of the David Wilson backflip from David Wilson even if it is slightly an ad.
Edit: This seems appropriate to add.

That's....actually very informative.
I can't do a "bridge"
that's probably a good starting point for you then.
Don't worry about a small issue like that. Just go for it!

OUCH!! I just miss seeing him (David) the the Orange and Maroon dicing the opponent's defense.
At 5'9" and 260 lbs I can't either. Although if you get me a bottle of Wild Turkey it could be a different story.
Dude is trying to get in the olympics.
DW growing a cop mustache, I see.
Y'all think he still gets chick fil a on Sundays???
David Wilson is disappointed that you would ever doubt him eating chick-fil-a on Sundays
I'm probably missing an inside joke, but here goes; ugh folks, Isn't Chick fil A closed on Sundays?

Beat me to it. +1
+1 and thank you for the good laugh. Boy did I need that. ;-)
In other news, holy hell I can't believe that thread in almost 6 years old! I remember reading that thread when I was but a shy TKP lurker my sophomore year
Also David Wilson is a real life legend who ran up the buttresses (I think that's what they're called) of Cassell and caught a wild rabbit by running after it. The legend kind of grew into him eating at chick fil a on Sundays. Here's some old TKP material to catch you up http://www.thekeyplay.com/content/2010/september/30/david-wilson-eats-ch....
hahaha Don Draper mixes DW's gatorade ha.
Thank you for reposting this, these are too funny. Also, hes just a good kid, I wish him well.
Sidenote: anyone from 2004-2009ish remember the legend that was "The Crazy Indian Running Man"
I do. I think he moved to California.
He is training at the San Diego Olympic center. So not sure if it is a permanent move. Last time I was there, I did see a David Wilson car dealership, wasn't sure if they were related though and never followed through on the research.
Yes, that is correct. The video was even shot on Coronado Beach.
But I was talking about Crazy Indian Running Man. I guess the topics overlapped geographically.
David Wilson, I love you. But imma have to disagree with you there.
The key word is "should."
He forgot Step #0... have God given talent!
That GIF is one of the most incredibly athletic things I've ever seen. I forgot how explosive he is.
I love these overly-simplifed 'how to' things that have come up since the dawning of the 'content marketing' fad..
Step 1. Wake up a more explosively athletic person than you were the day before
Step 2. Dont be stiff like a board, you need to be flexible like a rubber band. Restructure your muscle tissues to be more inline with one of an elite athletes.
Step 3. Have a greater body awareness than you've ever previously had
Step 4. Jump and let steps 1 through 3 take-over.
Easy! Youre now on your way to becoming an NFL/Olympic Athlete!
"No, no, no see you're doing it wrong, see you're being more of an out-of-shape diabetic in your upper 20s, you need to be more like David Wilson, be younger and just dont have diabetes this time and youll get it..."
Granted, DW4 was gifted with incredible talent but it's not like he just woke up one day and was able to do back-flips. He worked hard at developing strength and flexibility over a long period of time. It's exactly the same for someone who worked out consistently vs someone else with identical physical characteristics who never worked out and ate junk food all the time. The guy who worked out is going to be more athletic than the couch potato.
1. You cut a hole in the box......
Loved watching this kid in high school, college, and the pros and hated it that another great Hokie running back career was cut short by injuries. Wish him well in his Olympic endeavors.
