I love them seeing them working on the 2017 class before the 2016 class isn't even signed yet.

Great, you'll be delighted to know that 2018 is well underway, and early scouting of 2019 has probably begun too.

I have no idea why my username is VT_Warthog.

can I get a pronunciation on that last name?

Followup question: can he play Left Tackle?

You do mean can he play QB, don't you?

Rogers: QB to FB
Hodges: QB to TE
McMillian: QB to RB
Teller: DL to OL
LT3: TE to QB
way too often under Newsome: TE to OL
I was alluding to the last one, but any and all are fair game.

Interestingly enough, arguably the best linemen to come through, All-Pro Duane Brown, was a TE to OL convert.

Exactly haha

It's pronounced "Kevin".

Is there a comprehensive offer list anywhere? I get the feeling the vast majority of offer thus far in the Fuente era have been outside of Virginia. I'm loving the expansion of our footprint.

"I liked you guys a lot better when everybody told you you were terrible." -Justin Fuente

@Joe: Would love something like this on TKP. I recently took my first trip over to TSL and saw potential in their recruiting target board. Just thought I'd throw that in to the suggestions box.

It's not in the plans. It's too much time and work to maintain. If / when TKP becomes a paid service, it might be something added to its stack.

If he is from Charlotte, then we really need to play up theat we have both a Cook Out AND a Bojangles: Two North Carolina based staples.

We also have Justin Fuente who is going to turn Bucky Hodges into Bucky Gronhodgekowski, and that will be a nice precedent for Drake.

Let's just hope Meek Mill doesn't show up on the offer list or this kid may not want to come to VT...

Ok, I graduated in 2009. Been back a few times. Where the hell is Cookout in Blacksburg? I can't now not have a chocolate oreo milkshake with the southwest style burger and chili cheese fries the morning after a TOTS rail.

it's where the crappier hardees was- south main across from gucci Kroger, sharing a parking lot with our daily bread.

Why does your bread need a parking lot?

What about Zaxbys!!?!? You have to have a Zaxbys in the Carolinas!

There is one in Roanoke/Salem, however Zaxby's started in Georgia. I still love some Zax though!

Has Raising Canes made it out of Richmond yet?

There is one in Charlottesville, I believe.

It, too, is awesome.

I have no idea how that place is still open. The location is awful: no foot traffic to speak of, you have to make a U-turn or circle a hotel parking lot just to get there from one direction, it's within a block of both a Popeye's and a KFC (not saying they compare in quality, but it does rather crowd the fried chicken market). Even a Krispey Kreme couldn't survive in that location, but Cane's has. Mind blowing.

I wondered the same thing about the traffic issues, but I feel like it has been there for a solid 10 years or so?

I remember when it was a Krispy Kreme...good times! Spudnuts is better though. A buddy of mine and I would go there for breakfast before school after we got our drivers licenses.

EVERY Raising Canes, and this is not an exaggeration, uses parking lots and land plots that are hard to get into. Whether driving through another parking lot or making strange turns. This was true at 3 Canes in Columbus Ohio, two in Charleston SC and one in Houston I have been to.

haaa. The one, I think its James Island, near the Publix, my sister used to live near, and the ONLY reason I can remember that is because it was so confusing trying to navigate through whatever parking lot maze they had constructed...

it is really good chicken though

For me it's the sauce.

Krispy Kreme for breakfast
CookOut for lunch
Bojangles for dinner

Hell, as long as each has Cheerwine and Pepsi on tap, we should be good

is there a krispy kreme in blacksburg I don't know about? (and no, the donut kiosks in the Hess stations do not count)

Why do you want Krispy Kreme when you have Carol Lee?

Nope. Love 'em both, glad Bburg has Carol Lee, have eaten a ton of 'em, but nope. KK is the undisputed king, at least of the glazed doughnut. When warm, especially, they melt in your mouth before you can even chew them. But, different strokes for different folks, I guess.

In the reals, kid is going to be huge. Still more time to grow and move up charts. Love that he is extremely excited about it too. Hope that means our chances are high.

True. However, I am going to have to see how charged his phone is before I get too pumped.

Nicely played by Guerry.
