Just learned that former Hokie Brian Edmonds has passed away.

Do not know any of the story of what happened, but he has been healthy as far as I know. Very sad as he was still young. Was a good player and fullback for us in the mid nineties and started in the 95 Sugar Bowl win over Texas. Will post any other information as it comes along.

Sad news...once a Hokie, always a Hokie. One will be poured out for Brian Edmonds this weekend.

Exit Light, Enter Night....Go Hokies

Very sad. He was a great fullback.

No way!!! I had quite a few classes with him. I got to check on this with my 757 / Central VA Hokies, but I have been saddened today.
During a time when the football players were really reading their own press, he remained a great person and very nice to me my freshman year.

Tweedy can run like a dadgum antelope or whatever. I like to use scalded dog. Do antelopes lumber? Cheetah, OK. He runs like a cheetah. He's fast. - Bud Foster

Does anyone know what happened to Brian?

This sucks.
