Guys guess what,

Didn't see a thread up for the Tournament yet so I thought I'd throw up a thread.
Also, I'm ready, and slightly curious if anyone else puts up a ridiculous number of monitors to have all 4 games going at once.?

Good work! I just have a small browser in the corner of one of my monitors at work.
Your screen setup:

I'm also enjoying the Duke has not pulled away yet. I picked Duke to win, but I always root against them.
I think I'm one of the few people on TKP that doesn't want Duke to lose all the time. That being said I think at best they are a sweet 16 team. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they lost sooner. A 6 man rotation is almost certainly not going to win you a tournament.
My deal with Duke is mostly like why I hate the Yankees - they do it consistently because they have always won. And its amplified because it always seems like Coach K whines and then gets the call he wants. At this point I may just be so biased that there's no changing my mind.
As for Duke's team this year I completely agree. Half of my brackets had them losing today. The other half have them losing in the next round. You can't win with that little depth.
GO SEAHAWKS!!! I also went to UNC-W my freshman year so this is an easy one for me to cheer for.
It's completely understandable. I just try to support the ACC teams that aren't UVA. Outside of that, I almost always root for the underdog and complete chaos in the tournament. It's a similar reason to why I don't make brackets anymore, it's fun to root for the underdog instead of worrying about if this game will make your bracket as accurate as possible.
Supporting ACC teams to advance in the tourney is good for the VT athletic dept pocketbook. Each game played by an ACC school is worth over 200,000 dollars at least.
I like supporting ACC teams in the tournament which pretty much means I need to root for Syracuse to go to the final four because I really don't want to see MSU or LOLUVA from that region
Why not MSU? Tom Izzo is my favorite coach in basketball
I like Izzo but I live in Big Ten country and all I hear about is how good all the Big Ten teams are all the time, hence I want them all to lose all the time just so everyone will shut it
EDIT: everyone can shut it! Wohoo!
Meh... Worth it to see UVa humiliated by the #16 seed.
GO PIRATES!
My dad went to Hampton, so I can legitimately pull for them instead of merely (yet justifiably) pulling against Hooville.
I mean I know he owns it and all, but I would prefer to just not be associated with that place
Yeah, but every time he comes in here to whoop ass, he cleans the place up real nice. Makes it livable. Bearable.
Two Words: Grayson Allen
Yeah, he has a very "punchable" face.
People hate this guy?

Jones fouled out for Duke. This could be an exciting finish.
Edit: Now 5 on Plumlee too, and still 2 minutes left.
Ummm... What just happened to Tony Bennett?
Not sure. Didn't look good though. My distaste for LOLuva aside, he seems like a good guy and I hope he's okay.
Apparently he was crouched for a while and stood up and "...blacked out a little bit" and added that he was a little bit dehydrated. He says he's fine to coach the second half.
Not looking good at the half for Hampton down 19. The first 4 games games are done with no real upsets. Although, currently Yale is up on Baylor after a half.
You sir, are a maniac. Nice setup.
Hampton...
[sighs] You know what-ok. Fine. Alright, you're up, Butler.
Upset alert 12 seed Yale is up by 4 with 1:21 left.
Team chaos gets its first win. Down goes Baylor!
Also, keep an eye on Little Rock, they're giving Purdue a challenge.
Princeton and Yale were near-equals. Yale barely edged Princeton to get into the NCAAs. Essentially, VT just upset Baylor. . .
Just like how we "essentially" won the 2015 national championship in football by beating OSU?
Those 12-5 games....
they'll get after ya
I need some advice. My girlfriend happily texted me saying she picked Virginia Tech to win it all in her office bracket (obviously she picked the school up North). Is this more my failing or hers? I blame myself.
It's the thought that counts?
When Shithole U bows out, then break it to her that there was an error and her loss is actually ok.
She's doing an NIT bracket?
My bracket is already proper fucked. If my belly was not full of whiskey and corned beef I would be upset...
I hope that whiskey and corned beef follows the proper route out of your belly.
Miami is threatening my bracket. Baylor didn't do me any favors either.
Dunk City is hanging around with UNC. I considered picking the upset there solely on UNC's lack of 3 point shooting, but I mean, it's a 16/1 game.
I put Miami in my Final Four and I hate myself.
I love basketball in March.
Picking Arizona to make the Elite Eight was a great idea.
The Arizona Law was repealed years ago when Lute Olsen retired.
Trust in Wichita State. They were dreadfully underseeded.
Middle Tennessee can't pull this off right? RIGHT!!
Feeling really good about picking MSU to win it all.
My daughter was a cheerleader at MTSU. I know it might be a bracket buster, but I want them to win. Their coach, Kermit Davis, is a really good coach and MTSU has been consistently a good team that couldn't get over the hump the past few years - and this year both their men's and women's team won the Conf USA tourney!. I know this will be tough for them, but... GO BLUE!!
They may not win, but they sure aren't backing down
Hawaii is doing everything they can to beat Cal.
MTSU pulls this off, and you might as well pencil UVa into the Final Four
If West Virginia and UVA meet in the Final Four, what are we supposed to root for?
Football season.
do you remember the scene where the field collapses in Dark Knight Rises...?
Ohhhh we're halfway theeeeeeere oooooohooooooh living on a prayer
I dunno, I think Butler could potentially stick it to them.
Agree. I have Butler winning in both my brackets.
I might have Sparty winning it all, but at least I picked the Hawai'i upset. R-right?
Welp.... UVa just got gift wrapped a relatively easy path to the Final Four
Awesome
Middle Tennessee. Middle. Tennessee. THIS IS MADNESS!! God I love it
MIDDLE TENNESSEE!!!! This is what makes the tourney fun for me.
Is Quagmire calling the UMD and S. Dakota State game?
This just in: LIVE look at my bracket following Sparty going down...
Crash and burn baby, crash and burn...
thank god i had sparty losing in the sweet 16....I just got a major boost compared to a lot of the TKP group brackets based on possible points remaining.....
Just realized Syracuse, a team that should not have made the tourney, is now likely to make the sweet 16.
Just realized
SyracuseMiddle Tennessee, a team that should not have made the tourney (if not for winning their conference tournament), is now likely to make the sweet 16.FTFY
The announcer who that said the Pitt Wisconsin game is a rock fight is absolutely right.
Anyone else enjoying the cousins game?
Its going very well right now
Not sure how the SFA guy using his neck and face as a place for the WVU forearms is a foul on him.
"I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay..."
DAGGER! Looks like the Cousins have given up.
Today has been amazing. Unfortunately it cost me half of my final 4 in round 1 BUT I DONT CARE!!
Northern Iowa halfcourt shot to win it, and I was hoping for a showdown with A&M tomorrow. Oh well.
Goodbye to Texas University.
