Just when you though the schadenfreude of UNC losing wasn't palpable enough, the Carolina fanbase comes through to provide one heck of a sendoff for the week.
Change.org: I want the the UNC/Villanova NCAA Championship game overturned
This game was poorly officiated from the tip off to the end. It was a one sided called game all the way through. The officials called fouls against UNC that should have not been called and never called Villanova for the fouls they committed. The officials never called Villanova for multiple travel violations either. Also I want a complete investigation into the officials as it was them that decided the game not who played better.
Allow me to paint a picture of this for you...

I mean, ignoring the fact that at the time of this posting, just over 3k UNC fans are whining about the ref treatment they received in a basketball game (yes, the rest of the ACC feels soooooooo bad for you) the act of actually going and creating this. Oh man... Thanks for the laugh, guys. I would spell out the reasons for them on why we find this so funny, but as we've all learned over the past few years, its highly unlikely they have taken the classes needed to understand such concepts.

Its ok, miss... you're allowed to say it.

Enjoy your weekends, everyone!

Oh yeah, losing out on the chance to win your 6th national championship must be so painful. Get over it.
Yes I mad.
Many are wondering why Cuse and UNC were allowed in the tourney, to begin with
Mother of god....it's come full circle...
This is how it comes full circle
Oh my goodness. It got better. This is the real deal. Leg
I agree that the officiating went more in favor of Nova, but this is ridiculous. It's like they forgot about the advantageous calls of the Hansbrough and Sean May years.
Well, UNC plays Duke every year, don't they? They should be used to officials blatantly siding with the opposing team.
As if UNC doesn't get all the calls all the time. When UNC and Duke play, the officials call it fairly even, because they can't preferential treat them both.
The officiating was bad altogether but it was definitely not biased towards Villanova.
Yep. Saw missed calls both ways.
UNC fans need some
I prefer Bum Bludgeoned myself.
Break out the butthurt spray
I can't believe this product actually exists... nor that the gif does on top of that.
Sphincter sorrow?
Wahzoo wrecked?
Bum Bamboozled
Caboose Crashed
Posterior plowed
Buttocks battered
Fanny flamed
Heiny hit
Keister killed
Gluteus Gashed
ok...that last one made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.......I'm done.....
.......for now
I kinda hope the refs did screw them. This could be the beginning of their athletic sanctions. I don't blame the current players, but when it comes to the athletic program as a whole, it's time to deal with the some consequences.

History just tells me to tell you to hold your breath.
"...it was them that decided the game not who played better..."
That would be "they". #LOLUNC
Why didn't we think of petitioning to get the Sugar Bowl results overturned?
Oh, that's right...we aren't a bunch of douchebags. And we at least had a case.
Also go read the comments if you get a chance haha unc is getting ripped to shreds

I personally liked how the refs called the game.
They called it loose, almost old school NBA style. (Arm bars, FTW!!! Pivot foot? What's a pivot foot?)
Why bother. The NCAA will just void their games in this year's tourney anyway.
On one hand, UNC fans can eat me, they got beat and I'm glad they got beat
On the other hand, this is what I love most about college sports. Did your team lose? Appeal for a victory and claim you were hosed. No one does this in pro sports. And it's both hilarious and enjoyable.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawaaaaaaaaaaa... crybabies.
Hey UNC,
Be happy you even had a season. Remember the whole "these classes don't exist" thing?
Yea neither does the NCAA apparently
Sincerely,
Fuck off
It's weird. Almost seems like UNC and their fans a entitled. /ns
Frankly I'm surprised the alums or fans could read the petition.
The Athletics Department interns are the ones filling out the surveys for the alums.
Bad officiating happens in EVERY SINGLE GAME, every single day of the season. There is honestly nothing in sports that pisses me off more than fans whining about refs screwing them after they lose big games. If it weren't for Marcus Paige's absolute prayer at the end, this wouldn't even be a topic of discussion.
